legend says that every time someone mentions I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, a part of James A. Janisse dies inside

Lol what was the last one called? -'I Vaguely Recall What Took place Last July'? 😂

idk why but the montage of Ryan Phillipe loosing his shit on everyone around him and tackling that old dude absolutely fried me 😭

I didn't even realize the new I know what you did last summer movie is a legacy sequel and not a remake.

5:01 It's so ridiculous, that the scary movie version just feels like how it should have played out.

I would've love to see the Slenderman review from you lmao

One thing I can say about the first two movies is that casting Jennifer Love Hewitt as the lead was a great idea because that woman can scream when she needs to.

the amount of work/care you put into your content is insane - multiple set changes?? love this channel, thank you dude

It's always funny when you learn that there were sequels to a random horror movie you watched years ago.

"WHERES THE FOOT?!!!"

It always gets me how Julie is getting choked out and screamed at in the first movie and her boyfriend really isnt doing anything about it.

I love how the scenes are so goofy that  when I'm only listening, I can't tell the difference between I know what you did last summer and the scary movie scenes that spoof it.

Jack Black pops up a lot in the 90s in small roles

oh, I didn't know scary movie was referencing this franchise when they did "what are you waiting for"

Oh thank God, a horror culture video, now I can numb the pain.

I rewatched the first two movies to prepare for the new film. It’s even more ridiculous than I expected, so let me say this clearly major spoiler warning for the new film and honestly for the entire franchise:

So if anyone remembers the second film, nevermind how they were a happy couple and he saved her at the end of the first...
Ray - after seeing his buddy get killed and fighting the killer himself - hitchhikes across the country, trades a ring he saved up to buy for a proposal for a gun at a pawn shop, uses that gun to commit a felony and rob a boat, and then sails that boat in an extremely deadly hurricane ALL THE WAY TO THE BAHAMAS... Just to save Julie...
And now you're telling me they're divorced and hate each other, with no explanation, to the point where she's "Not falling for this nice guy who actually cares routine"...??
...Again, read everything above one more time and include that it was the SECOND TIME he saved her life..!!!

And then on top of that... He's also the killer, dressing up like the guy who killed all of his friends???? What?? All because he was pissy that the town didn't remember his story..?

And all of this for what..? Just to tear down another traditionally masculine heroic character and make Julie seem more like a boss? So that he was unable to heal from the trauma but Julie rose above it, despite him being the heroic one in both situations? So we can have our new leading lady ask a snide and condescending question, "*scoff* YOU[loser workingclass smalltown fisherman] were married to JULIE JAMES[rich boss babe professor lady]??"

What an absolute disgrace. I wasn't a fan of the direction Scream 5 went either but this was just an abomination that didn't even make sense with its divisive stupidity.

The author who wrote the book stopped writing books after life imitated art and her daughter was murdered.

Omg, that "What a crock of sh*t" insert was sooo perfect. Genuinely laughed out loud .. and its 640am here! 😂🎉

Underrated channel. My life sucks currently. Appreciate your work man. Just gotta keep grinding (both of us).

It's hilarious how they clearly wanted to avoid the vengeful dad trope in the first movie mostly because it'll somewhat justify the dad's motive for hunting them, and paint him in a sympathetic light.

Because honestly... It's much less convoluted if they ran over someone's kid and their dad took revenge.
