It seems modders are remaking it before capcom does lol

The over-the-shoulder camera is already a big deal. But having fully functional free aiming AND moving while aiming on top? That's chef kiss.

modders never cease to amaze me

I vastly prefer the classic camera, but it's nice to see the community of this game alive, really hope we get an Outbreak 1 + 2 recomp in the future, with all scenarios in a single game, and with online.

1:40 the vanilla game already has a reload keybind though? It's L1

Looks like a really cool mod though, will try it out at some point.

Those guys are crazy o.O
This is not a simple mod

OMG this is revolutionary. I'm definitely gonna try this out! Anyways, I can't get in touch with a PC for a while. The mouse control is raw input right? Because that's crazy

The perspective of RE Outbreak Remake

the FIRST step into making Outbreak remake!

Cara, muito obrigado mesmo, você realizou um dos maiores sonhos da minha vida, que era jogar Outbreak com essa câmera

Now I'm hoping this game gets a recomp or something, and mix in RE4 movement into it. Seeing how crazy the modding community has gotten with modding stuff like Minecraft into Elden ring, or Skate 3 into minecraft and all that.

Now to mod ridiculously tiny inventory - and it's true remake!

You can probably can see optimizations with this camera mod like missing polygons in models from angles you never see something in with fixed cameras.  With PlayStation 2 that kind of optimization would be really important back then.

I’ve played these 2 games over and over, this definitely gives me an easy excuse to play again, keep up the great work friend

Alright well now we gotta get full 3d backgrounds made for the game for the few areas that are missing them, i’m blown away by this mod tho. Maybe i can get some of my friends who are new (or well Newish) to play this game with me and with this mod

Wow this is genuinely amazing work, gives me a reason to replay the game again, great job man

Heeeeeeeeyyy snipeeeee my duuuuuudeeeeeee. It was a privilege to see this mod come to life!! Thank you so much for it! !!! Bro I have one suggestion, but I don't know how hard is do this, so sorry if is too much, but would be possible add the Resident Evil Laser Sight to put on the weapons? Because mostly classic resident evils Is hudless, and I think that would fit just fine, but you tell me. Congrats 🎉

Holy shit! This is huge!

Bro this is so crazy!! But this also proves that Outbreak could have had the same over the shoulder aim as RE4, which came out around the same time. If they remake Outbreak, they should have the option to switch between 3rd person and fixed camera.

Thanks for the mod, you're awesome!
