Question for the Agents: Which DLCs felt like the biggest cashgrab slop in the face to you?

Corry with 2 L's mentioned ✅️

The fact we got Umbrella corp, RE:sistence, and RE:verse as multiplayer throwaway games instead of Outbreak 1&2 remake baffles me…

5:55 One plus to the coins is that dropping them just sends them back to the item chest instead of deleting them entirely, so carrying them doesn't really disable one of your inventory slots, it just keeps it occupied until you come across something else to pick up, then you can just drop the coins on the spot and get them next time you're at an item chest. Don't get me wrong the coins effects are still MINIMUM and I wouldn't have bought them if I knew that beforehand, but when you view them as just being ways to put your empty inventory slots to use until you need them, it makes the money waste a little more tolerable

What pissed me off about the Versus DLC for RE5 is the achievements that came with it. I'm pretty sure even back then, you'll have to boost with your friends to unlock them.

I'm one of those poor souls who can't 100% RE5 because I can't complete the online achievements, I managed to get all the single player ones. I even tried to see if there was a mod that lets me use bots but unfortunately there isn't.

I remember playing re verse with a few friends and it basically boiled down to who can stunlock who first

They just need to adapt the Left 4 Dead formula in a Resident Evil world.  Guaranteed money printer.

The worst part about the resident evil 3 remake is that its actually possible to buy the game and beat it twice (granted you know what your doing and have to perfect runs) and then refund the game lol because the world record is sub 43 minutes with lots of records in the 45-55 minute range meaning yeah you can be the game twice and then refund it for your money back on steam.

11:40 actually it's more than that. The guy that directed the RE3 Remake, is the same guy that directed Survivor. He's rather infamous for under utilizing the alotted game budget given to him. Hence the sub-par experience.

REverse had potential. The issue was it was horribly balanced and they killed support for it too quickly. (a common problem with Resident Evil multiplayer where one or a few characters were way stronger than others and poorly balanced.) Ada Wong was single handedly the most unbalanced character in the entire game. She had an auto dodge with a cool down that allows her to completely avoid all damage and it was difficult to hard counter. Also her bowgun was actually very strong. Players would often go to the highest point of a stage and snipe other players with her crossbow. Then the new characters from Chris's team in Village were added. They were even more broken. I can't even remember their names but there were a couple that were REALLY busted.

Also, you've probably noticed I said all this in past tense. That's because the game shut down earlier this year (or was it late last year? I don't remember.) Yep, you can't even PLAY RE:Verse anymore. The game had potential but Capcom basically gave up on it after the initial player count drops. Yet Resistance remains in service.

I think Capcom were nostalgic with resident evil 6 era and wanted to feel the same feeling as back then.

I actually loved Resistance. Wish there were still people playing it.

1:28 also skort instead of the skirt

I wish we got Resistances costumes for RE3. That would've been a little apology from capcom (not a decent one but it would be something then let the game die).

ALPACA JILL SHOULD BE FREE!!

I did play survival unit when it came out day one, and well: it only really lasts a day, until you just get tired from it, because it became like those mafia city games: you joined for the ad, but left because the gameplay became repetitive. I genuinely hoped that it was going to be: oh, you will play resident evil in a side-campaign that isnt part of the lore itself, but it's more like you get to experience as to how it feels to be in Raccoon City during the outbreak. Instead: it was that, but for only... 5% of the mobile game. The rest? We hope you keep buying flares for the dopamine hits and because you can then unlock characters. Also, your clan is doing the same fight for the 62nd time in the row. It genuinely lasted me like 2 days.

one funny thing about the dlc in my experince is (i cant remember how ive done it 90%) of the time and its permanent but i think it was either me unlocking the items and buying either the content unlockers or deluxe edition but a few of the RE games i have 7 2:remake 3:remake and i cant remember any others off the top of my head but it gave me double the items 😅😂 like the ones you can put in your inventory and idk why😂

Loved the video!

I HATE how these games always drop the ball with extra outfits. Its so rare that i ever feel like "yeah they got it right and everything i could think i want is here" we always get some random goofy nonsense lnstead of anything actually cool or lore friendly. Like if we are gonna do goofy lets atleast have it fit within resident evil, why are we giving ashley this cringey emo look instead of maybe giving her a matching rpd outfit to wear alongside leon? You could even have that come with a defensive knife functionality where similar to the armor shes impossible to grab cause she has a defensive knife. Or you could give her the jacket over her normal outfit so its as if leon gave it to her at some point. You could give her a jill cosplay since she even calls herself a master of unlocking at some point. In general theres just so many directions you could go with a deluxe edition outfit and they always do the WEIRDEST things i will literally never actually use.

I still feel like a smash bros-esque multiplayer Resident Evil would still make sense. Just having anyone you can think of, famous monsters etc. But the designs Capcom have gone with have all been the wrong choices. Left 4 Dead is really the format to go with, but I worry they'd screw it up
