This comment "The Cathedral must have been remodelled" made me 😂😂😂😂😂

Remember - you've been told that all our food is brown and tasteless - however colour is irrelevant as most meat is brown when cooked. Our food is hearty and is designed to keep you going especially if you're in a heavy job like mining or construction etc.

Our Cathedrals and Castles don't get remodelled !  They get carefully and painstakingly repaired as time goes on, but the vast majority of all of them is original.

You can swim in the thermae spa which uses the same spring water but clear  as the Roman baths ,

I watched an American woman describe clotted cream as American cream times 1000.
The best cream she ever tasted and she continued to buy it at the supermarket while she was here.
It is super thick.

A traditional Cornish pasty is surprisingly simple: beef, potato, swede (rutabaga), onion, salt and pepper inside a folded pastry crust. It was originally designed as a hearty meal for miners and still remains a classic in Cornwall.

Also Roman Chester, Oxford, Cambridge, Norwich, Bristol, Exeter, Portsmouth, Durham, Devon, Brighton, Liverpool, Wells, Salisbury, Winchester, Cheddar, Birmingham

Would also add Canterbury, Malvern Hills, the New Forest and Chiltern Hills

I live in the lake district in Cumbria lived there all my life

Just be aware UK beers and Ales are strong so you may not be able to try many lol 😂

I've been watching The Magic Geekdom for a while, they make good videos, and it's nice to see them fall in love with so many UK places. There's a lot of 'top 10' type travel channels but I think they're the best, and she's quite charming and charismatic... I grew up in Newcastle, it's a lovely city, and Northumberland is magical and often overlooked by people!

I stayed in Newcastle in a January and went to the market by the river on a Sunday. An iceberg floated by!

2:44 pie with salad? Maybe with peas or something - but salad with gravy would be weird

Can't believe they missed out Devon

The pies at the Weighbridge are epic. The pastry is almost 50% butter and is so short it is crumbly. We made the mistake of ordering sides the first time we went there - absolutely not needed. The pies are huge.

I also make Lincoln Imps out of concrete. I'm going to hide some in Lincoln for people to find.

Cornwall is also where the chemical element Titanium was discovered and identified for the first time. ( a curious black coloured sand drew the attention of a scientist)

I absolutely love Whitby it's just so laid back and very picturesque

Thanks, I'm so homesick now.

Those are chips, pies are almost always served with chips, not salads.
