Everything in this movie is "real", even the dream sequences

41:16 "...guy is 3 or 4?" As he wears a giant number 3 on his shirt. 😂

She really got in her head "What's real?" early on and couldn't stop going back to it. Ha. It's all real, just working under different universe rules.

This feels like how my grandma would react to Scott Pilgrim. “Her name is Knives?!” “What’s that scribble?”

"Bob-omb." It's a reference to a type of bad guy from the Mario games. 😃 They're kind of adorable. lol

She saw a zombie (horror) movie and an alien invasion movie before and accepted those realities but is having a hard time accepting a video game reality movie. 😂

Randomly meeting Edgar Wright in my neighbourhood coffee shop while Scott Pilgrim was filming in Toronto is a fond, fond memory, and I'll never forget how excited one of the baristas was at getting one of her Scott Pilgrim books autographed by most of the cast. SO many Toronto landmarks in this movie are long gone now...

I love how any amount of magical realism fries Coby's brain.

"I don't know if this guy is three or four" - Coby, looking at a guy wearing a tshirt with a giant #3 on it.

The most originally fun/ bizarre/hysterical film I’ve seen in 20 years… and never gets old! All hail at the alter of Edgar Wright!

I really love both the movies. Scott Pilgrim is just wild baby driver is more of an action movie. Pilgrim is just charming.

“Lady Dudes! Do you know Ramona Flowers?”

It's all real. This is how the universe of this movie works--it's based on a comic with lots of video game influences. That's why it's so much fun.

No movie encapsulates that feeling of constant band practice and me loving every minute of it like this movie.
I had a drummer named Kim. She was cool.
