OMG! You 2 are disgusting! It's one thing to say there's no evidence against her. Fair enough, I can accept that. I can even accept that she was young, seduced, and I believe manipulated, by an older, more experienced man.
What I can't accept is that lawyer telling all of us that we're not morally superior to someone who, for MONTHS, spoke in such a derogatory manner about a woman who'd done nothing to her! She after all was wanting to steal Ashley's husband, while leading a congregation, which INCLUDED ASHLEY, into worship every Sunday! She betrayed an entire congregation and made all Christians look like two-faced evil doers.
ANYONE who could NEVER think, let alone express, the desire to have someone die, and let alone express, the desire to kill that person themselves, while going to church every Sunday, IS morally FAR superior than that mistress!
If she was such a "brave" person, she would have reported Flynn's desire to have his wife dead/killed to the authorities. And maybe Ashley would be alive today! But she did NOTHING!  Instead she contributed to his madness and fed his evil desires.
I hope she faces consequences (maybe not legally) for many years, for her cowardice, selfishness and evil heart, which all led to a mother of 2 young girls being dead.
And you 2 should be ashamed for defending her in any way. I'm sure her looks has something to do with your disgusting attitude!
I have to ask this.. how comfortable would you be, having this exact same conversation with your high praises for that despicable woman, with Ashley's grief-stricken family in the same room with you?!

Just because there’s no evidence to prove a person is guilty doesn’t mean they’re innocent

How is it different than encouraging someone to commit suicide. She constantly put pressure on him to “get rid of her”. Said, I wish she was dead on several occasions, even said, “I want to kill her”. Telling the truth is not as hard when you’re not the one facing the consequences. I find nothing about her admirable. She has blood on her hands.

A young woman is dead because of Caleb and this girl. Caleb’s wife, the mother of his children. Weird it was pleasurable for you to represent her.
Did she come clean on loosing the lap top and her cell phone? What was she hiding? Too bad she wasn’t brave enough to tell Caleb not to murder Ashley. Also, she could have warned the authorities and Ashley would be alive to raise her daughters!

Oh ffs. She didnt testify because of some new-found morality. She testified "so bravely" to cover her own ass. People aren’t "giving her credit for that" because she doesn't deserve any.

I think most people know that Celeb did it through the evidence provided BUT prosecutors did not find hard evidence of Caleb murdering Ashley. They went off Apple Watch, Alleigha Botner, text messages, and very heavy on MOTIVE. This leads us to also presume that Alleigha Botner is capable as an accomplice or conspirator if we’re just going  based on how prosecution won this case against Caleb.

Alleigha affirmed and encouraged Ashley’s death. And guess what…. It happened! It doesn’t matter if it was mentioned once (it wasn’t, it was mentioned numerous times) it still happened.

If you tell and talk to someone about killing a person. And the person actually goes and kills that individual… you are definitely guilty as an accomplice or conspirator.

I agree with the conviction but prosecution definitely dropped the ball on Alleigha. They wanted Caleb so badly they didn’t actually take into full effect that justice for Ashley means Alleigha also is locked up. Because they didn’t have hard evidence (like a video of the murder) they had to rely on the evil wicked Alleigha as a witness to win the case while putting aside that full JUSTICE FOR ASHLEY is Alleight Botner is facing legal consequences, and not just freely walking this earth as a morally bankrupt woman.

If they had hard evidence of Caleb murdering Ashley… I’m almost certain Alleigha Botner would be facing charges too.

What about lying to the FBI, obstruction, destroying evidence, hiding and not turning over a subpoenaed burner phone? Last I checked those are all illegal. She should at least be charged for those.   We don't know if there is any evidence against her because they never searched her apartment, her car, the Pastor's home, or fields around the apartment and home, they never searched her mother's home, and they never searched her burner phone and they never collected her DNA. She clearly encouraged Caleb to kill Ashley. How is that any different to Michelle Carter continually texting Conrad Roy to kill himself? She was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Caleb had expressed wanting his wife dead and gone; Alleigha said the same and continuously texted him over 300 times a day to get rid of Ashley. When he said "then hire a hitman." she said "tempting." She said she would like to kill Ashley herself. She told him that even if he divorced Ashley, she would always be in his life because of the kids and she wanted her GONE. (Sounds reminiscent of the Alyssa Burkett m*rder. The Mistress got 2 life sentences.)  It seems like if someone texts you 300 times a day to get rid of your wife then she is complicit when that happens. I don't see how she isn't as complicit as Michelle Carter was for texting Conrad to kill himself. Caleb was a weak man and a vile man, but she was a manipulative woman and a vile woman. They deserved each other and they deserve prison. Ashley deserves justice, if not for Alleigha, she would still be here.
I understand you are lawyers, but for God's sakes don't venerate a vile woman that caused the death of an innocent young mother. She is not a damn hero, stop acting like she is. Acting like her testifying is some badge of honor when she is the reason Ashley is dead is beyond disgusting. If she had not placed demands and deadlines on Caleb to get rid of Ashley, Ashley would still be here. She is 100% complicit in Ashley's m*rder whether she pulled the trigger, hid the gun, or just gave instructions or insisted he do it, she is complicit. We may not know which scenario is right because of a shoddy investigation, but in at least one or maybe more of those, she is complicit.

I don’t pretend to be morally superior.  We’ve all said things that we wish haven’t said or texted but not 107,000 times.

She destroyed her cellphone and ",lost" her laptop conciently while they were supposedly broken up.  All this while she was in Florida finding a hitman!.... She's guilty!!!!!!

This "lawyer" is making every false argument he can, appeal to incredulity, ridicule, "do you really think she has some program on her laptap?" yeah pal, yes it's highly likely.

Maybe some people communicate like that, but I can honestly say never ever ever have I gone back-and-forth about hating a person so much as she did in those texts. And then they will throw in the Lord as if this is appropriate behavior under the eyes of the Lord?  her and caleb absolutely sick. The hypocrisy. If they are not evil, I don’t know what is and society needs to be protected from people that conspire and solicit murdering innocent ppl and tamper with evidence and lie to the FBI. Alleigha Botner in my personal opinion is complicit in the unaliving of Ashley Smith Flynn .. she was jealous, pushy and she encouraged Caleb Flynn to murder Ashley .. she Alleigha is one horrible person.

If she won’t have legal consequences… she’ll suffer public scrutiny as she well deserves.

She tossed the phone and laptop at a time before she knew they could find them other ways. It’s not complicated. She thought she tossed/broke her stuff and he deleted his stuff, so they were in the clear. No one is accusing her of being smart lol

They never investigated her, so it’s easy to believe she doesn’t know where the gun is.

Why are they talking as if she had a choice in becoming a witness? Surely people are summonsed by court to give evidence and they cannot just refuse it?

That girl enjoyed destroying that Family.  She loved reading the messages  and reminisce  on the whole journey.  Becareful  there is many out there !

I don’t think it is an absurd or uninformed for people to feel she is complicit.. One could argue she put the gun in his hand based on her despicable, manipulative and blatant statements the she wanted Ashley dead. Another woman was sentenced for telling her boyfriend to kill himself. This is not a whole lot different. IMO, she dodged a bullet herself, deserved the humiliation of reading the texts and I hope she gets counseling to understand why she chooses married men. Separately, Caleb definitely got what he deserved.

They need ALL of her phones checked!
