Shame on this country.
I think what this whole case makes clear is that it is challenging to treat patients who are not good self reporters and do not disclose their medical history fully. There is also the challenge of balancing patient rights and being able to hold someone against their will to treatment. Truly a tragedy. I do hope this gives increased awareness to mental health needs and postpartum support all around.
He’s crossed the line too many times.
