Getting scolded for arriving on time is crazy

What surprise me most is that I had seem 5 videos from Salaryman and I ain't saw a single human interaction.

You deserve better.

I find your videos comforting, because you just tell the truth.

This is the most depressing shit I’ve ever seen

"Very efficient system and minimal human interaction"

I think the lack of human interaction is also contributing to the depression many are experiencing in the modern world

the part when he said '' no time or money to enjoy this beautiful country'' i feel you Mr. Salaryman. We keep on working but still not enough, seems like everyday is a survival mode. How are we supposed to enjoy life when surviving already takes everything we have? I hope we find happiness one day :)

It's the good thing you made a YouTube channel you can communicate interact with other people around the world

At least you have your YouTube channel, that means you have some skills in filming, editing, generating new ideas and attracting viewers, not bad for a depressed Japanese gentleman

Plot twist: Salaryman Tokyo actually IS the boss, ie, the heartless manager. 😂

French guy here and I'm honnestly jealous of japanese restaurants/fast foods, most of ours are becoming tourist traps that serves frozen food and it's becoming hard to find good ones.... ironically the only ones that stay clears are foreign cuisine

I'm a Canadian who has been living in China for eight years, but I lived in Japan for three years before that. I have mixed emotions about Japan. It was the cleanest, most polite, and most organized country I have ever lived in, but Japan just works you to the bone. Even as a foreign English teacher, I ended up having just one day off and had days where I'd leave my home at 9 and be back at 22:30. Overwork is baked into the culture in a way that even reaches foreigners, but I know it's far worse for a salaryman like in this video.

Home at 22 PM, day consists of eating, work, commute and minimal social interaction. Not difficult to see where the problem lies.

I'm always amazed by the raw egg that seems to be added to everything in Japan

I'd laugh if i ever found out salaryman doesn't actually have a job and makes all his money from youtube. He's stats are pretty good

Stay strong, brother! Adult life is difficult everywhere, but it seems Japan doesn't have boundaries on work-life balance. Hugs from Brazil, the largest japanese community outside Japan. 🇧🇷

I hope you can find happiniess in your life soon man 🫂❤️

All the best!!!

Jeez, as a Scotsman when you said “No time or money to enjoy this beautiful country”

I feel ya ! I’ve never beento the  highlands and the parts of this country that people fantasise !

You wish you could just swap lives with people for a week ! 😂
