Fantastic camera for its target demographic — the best out there — and a great addition to the OM System line-up! Thanks for the fine review.

Hey Gareth ,another fantastic review

thanks for informative review Park Cameras.

Have they fixed C-AF + tracking?

I was hoping for a little more retro, looks like every other range type body

Funny how all influencers are saying it’s great 😂😂😂😂

Decent little camera. Come holiday, if it is $899, the price is competitive.  MFT camera in general get it all done, and are quite friendly to deal with.  Fast to focus, with IBIS, if that is your need, most MFT cameras check off many boxes.  Since this is a street photography and travel camera, I would prefer tilt-only screen, but we have those doing video work.  I got my OM-5 for $900, thus a bargain, with the 1/8000s mechanical shutter, and the top notch weather seal, though that only matters when you have the top of line lenses, like those birdie zoomers.  The smaller lenses have the splash proof and not weather proof ratings.  The larger battery on the PEN is a good thing, but then again some people have extra smaller batteries laying around.  I find the grip and size of the OM-5 to be better than all those tiny MFT bought over the years, thus I doubt I need or want for any gear smaller.  You tend to hit buttons by accident and holding the micro small camera is a pain.  I see little grip on the PEN as well. Anyway, if you have a Lumix GX-9 or the OM-5, you have pretty much already of what we find with the new / old camera.  If wanting for fashion and metal, the OM-3 is the new PEN-F.  When the price of that one hits the $1,399 to maybe $1,499 range, it will be a solid buy. Alas, the OM-5 is just fine. Long live the poly-carbonate !  That 20mm f1.4 looks good, if not a bit to the large on a PEN.  Maybe better balance on the OM-5 to larger bodies???

all YouTubers are obviously trying too hard to please OM Systems and promote this sad camera. As a lifelong M43 (especially Olympus) fan I am extremely disappointed by this Pen. Is it the SAME size and almost same price as OM5 that came many years ago which is a carbon copy of EM5iii that came a decade ago! with the same disgusting plastic body that cannot even support the tripod screws. Same crappy LCD (not even a multi touch in 2026!) and very poor EVF with the same 16MP sensor that came out 15 years ago. Unreliable subject detection and nothing new
