Few people realize how good this camera is. Although it is an entry-level camera, it boasts many features of a professional model: access to excellent professional optics, weather sealing, a superb battery that allows for extended use, a proven, high-quality sensor capable of producing professional-grade large-format prints, very good sensor stabilization and a very fast, accurate, and reliable autofocus system.

How can I achieve Fujifilm-style film simulation photos with the OM SYSTEM PEN camera?

@albin2232 3 weeks ago

It is built from the finest plastic.

Can anyone share why someone may want to spend an extra $50 for the OM 5 mark ii ? They’re so similar in price I’m struggling which to choose. Looking for travel photography in a compact size

Rugged?

Why is there so much “excitement”, this is not new technology, it’s an entry level plastic kit

Sounds like a paid commercial. Come be honest and share the bad bits.

all YouTubers are obviously trying too hard to please OM Systems and promote this sad camera. As a lifelong M43 (especially Olympus) fan I am extremely disappointed by this Pen. Is it the SAME size and almost same price as OM5 that came many years ago which is a carbon copy of EM5iii that came a decade ago! with the same disgusting plastic body that cannot even support the tripod screws. Same crappy LCD (not even a multi touch in 2026!) and very poor EVF with the same 16MP sensor that came out 15 years ago. Unreliable subject detection and nothing new
