"I know I need a yarn bowl," says the woman sitting in HER OWN POTTERY STUDIO. Doctor, heal thyself!

I have been SCREAMING at the screen for every other video to squeeze the fabric under the slip to saturate it more, I'm so glad to finally have some closure 😂 they look so cute!!❤

it's a crochet, pottery, wood cutting studio. every crafters dream!

me, halfway through a project every time: "I didn't think this was gonna be so complicated" is my favorite genre of youtube video. hazariel atelier, Rachel Maksy, and Mia are among the elites in this field.

"I just think [granny squares] are cute, perfect, little squares"
Side eyes the tiles obsession yeah only because they're cute perfect little squares 😂.
Now that's an idea! Granny square tiles

I really think you should make a yarn bowl in the crochet/clay method

A huge wall display of them! But it would also double as a swatch for crochet/ceramic projects!

Imagine being so good in pottery, that normal pottery gets boring and you just start to crochet your pottery noow

I like the way the green glazed one shows the texture, i think that's my favourite

These turned out genuinely stunning

Lovely! Use these as the coasters like you meant them to be and make a "blanket" out of several grannies to put up on the wall!

Fun project! The deflocculant makes the slip more fluid (less viscous), so you need less water for it to stay runny. There’s a trick, though: casting slip is also thixotropic, which is a fancy way of saying its viscosity changes when it’s mixed. So you can start with very gloopy slip, mix it for a minute or two, and suddenly it becomes much more fluid.

When you were musing about the squares sticking to the wood, I was sitting here saying, "Girl, get some parchment paper!" It made me giggle when you said "I have some parchment paper in my kitchen, upstairs." YES! I love it when the creator is definitely listening through the video and does what I say XD

Next project, yarn bowl

Its so weird seeing a granny square but hearing it clank when you set it down on the table!! I love these projects so much!! They are definitely art and would look so pretty hung on the wall together!

Congrats on a successful crochet dip project! Maybe a brush on silicone on the back would keep the holes visible, rather than losing them with cork?

Yay, well done.
If you use these as coasters, big if, because I think you'll leave them as wall art. I think those little silicone stick-on pimples would be a better choice than cork for backing. You want to be able to run them under the tap or wipe them with a damp cloth, glued-on cork might not like that. Plus, you don't want to block the holes, both for aesthetic reasons, and you don't want to trap nastiness in there.

You should just make more of these and use them as your glaze swatches. That would be beautiful on your wall.
