I had this conversation with the guys at Anschutz awhile bad. Let’s just say they didn’t believe cutting threads changed internal dimensions but my experience says different. 👍🏼

Isn't that .2196 not .2186?

Deltronic Pins sounds like a name for a rock group...😁

sweet!!!! always cool to see how someone approaches things.

Liked and hyped boss, cheers Yogi ✌️🇦🇺

Thank you Mr Gonzalez

Thanks for sharing

Plug gauges, then.  They had these at Sunkist Growers, only in .001 increments. I recall seeing and using them in the late eighties.

Love the video!  As a metrologist, I hang out with a LOT of Deltronic gear.

I'd love to have a set for every caliber but that would set me back over $3000.00 and since I do this work as a hobby and for a select few friends I can't really justify the cost. That's a lot of barrels and bullets in search of the perfect score target! So I just buy a few  ZZ pins on either side of nominal.

spillmaster container from Penn Tool,  or spillproof paint cups.

Logarithmic search.

Well anyway ,keep them small and center, Speedy.

What does the online do that the other cutting oils don’t?  I have been thinking about trying some in my shop.

Do you know if different rifling processes are more or less prone to internal dimensional changes due to the reduction of outside dimensions? I’m speculating that hammer forged or button rifled barrels might display the greater change due to the relief of stresses induced by the process of forming the rifling.

Sorry for your loss. That lube was a good dude. 😢

Can you share your maid service? I've never seen a cleaner machine that's actually done work.

WHAT YOU MEAN YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO THESE MUCH ANYMORE LONGER?

You wrote down .2186 but your pin was -21996
