Excellent. I recently had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with speedy at the shop. A fine man and true master of the craft.

It's so amazing to me how much things have changed since the early 1990’s when I competed with a trued 700 by Sam Lair (Jenks Oklahoma) with a hart barrel, kelby rings and a McMillan BR stock. Thank you for sharing

Nice work Speedy. After hearing you singing the praises of Honey Wax, I'm going to have to give it a try. P.S. Does Erik know you liberated that can from him? Or does it just happen to have his name on it? 😂

Another awesome video, THANK YOU for taking time to help us all. Questions- what bedding compound do you use for bedding your rings? Also do you know a source for a 35mm lapping bar. Thanks again.

What i do is primative by your standards but i take a file and put a chamfer on the edges and lap the rings on the receiver.....ive never even thought about bedding afterwards. Might have to try it next time. Nice video

Why didn't you show the lapping? That's what I really wanted to see how you do it? 😢

Hi Speedy! Greetings from Italy and thanks for sharing this content! One question, if I can: did I notice right that you bedded only the lower part of the rings and not the ring cups (180 degree)? Any reason for not bedding the entire 360 degree? Thanks a lot! Maurizio
