Not only did he construct the bird, but he maintained it even after the rings power ran out and he was knocked out twice, John is a god of the lanterns lmao

I haven't seen a smoother flight scene in any other TV Show or Movie. That flight was absolutely top-notch—chef's kiss. 👌🔥

Also love that Hal wanted to save face with sinestro by wearing his suit - not validate that sinestros loss of faith in guardians may have been warranted

In the comics, John Stewart can canonically use willpower constructs without the use of a ring.

Robbie The FIRE 🔥 Burnett joins the debrief! The dynamic duo never fails to please.

There is a reason the show is called Lanterns and not Green Lanterns. Also in the trailers we see red beams attacking. I definitely believe we will get red lanterns and possible yellow lantern with sinestro.

These first two episodes have been absolute fantastic. The few people complaining are just loud. They’ll complain no matter what. It’s just the way they live their lives, complaining about anything and everything. This is the best live action green lantern content we’ve ever had, and it’s only been two episodes so far.

Not sure why the Red Lanterns are "too fantastical" when they've already given them their whole origin story. They don't have to completely become the Red Lanterns this season, but it's definitely set up perfectly to be Atrocitus.

Atrocitus is not a "deep lore" character, he is very surface leveled, the entire story that Antaan told was extremely similar to the story of Atrocitus's character.

I thought it was Lex Luther whenever the grandpa said I want to keep anyone who wasn’t born on this planet off of this planet that that’s something exactly that Lex Luther would say

There was an issue with the livestream but im glad i can at least watch this post stream haha

The first episode was gold, this episode was a huge step up, cannot wait to see more Ulrich Thomson as Sinestro, he was so good as Kai Proctor in Banshee probably top three best villains in tv history

Thanks

John Stewart admitted that he knows what it's like to be betrayed by someone he loved. Dad? Mom?

I liked that the Sheriff confirmed that she's from Gotham. That's cool since she was on a telephone call to a friend named Jim and told him to say hello to Barbara.

Did you miss the part where we find out her name is Kerry Kane. She 100 percent talking about batgirl.

Lol! John. "Meaning Mining" is PERFECT!

53:34 the comment points to the photos in Hal’s “lived-in villa”. There’s photos of Hal with Obama and then with Harry, Ron and Hermione

I think the guardians not wanting an early based lantern is more sinister - to hide their shame of the manhunter

John not wanting ANY connections to the world at large is weird. I love this show but, if it means that I can’t have the fantastical world of DC, I don’t want it. You can make it gritty. You can tell on the ground stories. But, you can’t get rid of its comic book connections.
