Rosalía is playing a little game called “How groundbreaking can I be?” and she’s winning.

I loved your approach and reaction. As a native Spanish speaker it also gave me the impression that you are very well versed in Spanish language and culture and that is something I appreciated a lot. Thank you!

I've been listening to Rosalía for years, and I've played Lux at least twenty times.
I started to wonder: why does this album resonate so deeply with me? I'm Norwegian, in my late sixties, and an atheist—yet I'm profoundly moved by this music.
This reaction video revealed the depth of the lyrics in a way no other reactions, analyses, or reviews have.
Thank you, Viki!
I've heard Rosalía say that her lyrics come from intuition, but only after extensive research. She aims to blur the line between the personal and the universal. I believe the metaphors are deliberately open.
Maybe that's why even a stubborn old atheist like me is brought to tears.

I think it’s the first time I’ve seen someone take the time to emphasize and analyze from the heart. Congratulations — you’re a hardworking woman who loves what she’s doing ❤

Viki, first time watching your channel. Best analysis of this album I have seen so far, even surpassing Spanish speaking channels. Thanks for not only making the lyrics accessible to English audiences, but also making a nuance analysis of each song. Keep the good work!!

Tú te has emocionado con Rosalía y yo contigo por tu sensibilidad.

In La Yugular- second line "How many stories fit Inside 21 grams?", means inside the soul, cause the soul "wights" 21 grams

Honestly, this is one of the best reaction videos on YouTube. This is what a reaction should be — the breakdowns, the insights, the perspectives… everything. Even at almost 3 hours long it stays engaging and enjoyable the whole way through.

This is such an amazing reaction video. I don't speak one lick of Spanish but I'm absolutely entranced by this album. I can't even explain it but I think you get it. It touches the deepest part of my heart.

Listened to this album so many times and have watched many reactions to it. Just wanted to say, your interpretations of some of the lyrics/ production were really thought provoking and gave me new perspectives to understand this album! Great reaction!

Hombre, una anglo que entiende español. Enhorabuena.

in La Rumba Del Perdón you could totally translate "Toíto te lo perdono" as like "i forgive you for everything" or even more specifically "i forgive you for every little thing" it really gives the vibe of considering every last miniscule thing one could be forgiven for, whether sarcastic or at face value!

Mio Cristo is inspired by the story of St Chiara and St Francesco d’Assisi, two souls who revulutionized Catholicism for the following centuries. Francesco was a real anarchy king at the time a hurricane that shook the religious thought of his time. This is Chiara speaking, Christ tears turn in diamonds a sad thing into a lasting one to always carry inher in her heart. The sentence “My Christ in diamonds” means my Christ nailed to the cross, the diamond is a metaphor of the cross. This album has so many layers of interpretation but the stories of the Saints involved are a fact and are reported extensively in the album itself as well. 🌹

I listened to this album like a thousand times but I experience it on another level today with you. thank you.

She certainly does mix english with spaniish, or catalan, but in the case of Divinize she does not in the line "però tot JUST comença". That's all catalan words, it just😊 happens that "tot just" in catalan means just in english 😅

Goosebumps and tears in my eyes during almost 3 hours, has been amazing to share Lux with you, thanks to Rosalía and to you!
