You guys don't have to record the concert... Don't worry about that! But what we are awaiting is your genuine authentic reaction to it when you've experienced it. I genuinely cannot wait for that moment.

Thanks guys!

I was at her concert last week in Amsterdam and all I can say is it was brilliant. I was in complete awe of the artistic vision, the sound and her voice. Incredible!

this song is about Santa Rosalia, the patron saint of the city of Palermo: she was a very wealthy noble woman that was promised to be married to a man, but she refused and she escaped to the mountains to live in a very remote place in a cave! After a while, she was given another cave a bit more close to the city. This final cave is now a sanctuary. The final lyrics are in sicilian.

Guys, the "plea" you hear in her voice comes from the fact that her formation as a singer comes first from Flamenco - this type of sound is called a "quejio". See below.

Technically, a quejío involves:
A strained, almost breaking vocal tone
Melismatic phrasing (stretching a single syllable over many notes)
Microtonal inflections (notes that fall between standard pitches)
A sense of spontaneity, as if the singer is overcome by feeling

She's a genius. This week she has been appointed International Songwriter of The Ivors awards, really prestigious awards from the UK

I went to her concert here in Madrid 3 weeks ago, we cried, laughed, danced... and by "we" I mean everyone there, people all ages. She is a very special artist. Thanks for your reactions 😊

This song is about her no-wedding... lyrics are awesome, as always!

I was impatiently waiting for this reaction 😊 June 6th can’t come soon enough 😭 I’m ready for the LUX experience

I went to her concert 2 nights ago and I’m still thinking about it. She’s such a creative, emotional soul. I loved every second and wish I could experience it again. Also loved this performance live.

Rosalía was born a musical genius... and you're going to enjoy her concert.
Greetings from Spain.

Guys love your Rosalia reactions so much 😭😭😭 it's so great to see how much u love her work and enjoy it ❤

Hi again Richard and Johnny. Thanks for reacting so quickly to another Rosalía release. Yes, she's an angel, and as her song "Lux Reliquia" says, "I'm not a saint, but I'm blessed." She's a genius, she always has been, and now more people have the opportunity to see her. We're so excited for June to arrive so we can see her perform in Orlando. The Lux tour is a complete success. It started in Lyon and Paris (France), then Zurich (Switzerland), Milan (Italy), Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium). Today she's performing in Cologne and then Berlin (Germany). She'll continue in London (UK). Then she crosses the pond to the US, first to Miami and finally Orlando. The show is getting closer! Hugs and best wishes to you both.
😄😍

I saw her live this Monday in Belgium and this song is so incredible! It's my new favorite in the album!

La instrumental de "Jeanne" (inspirada en Juana de Arco) es maravillosa....❤

Some information that might interest Johnny. An interview with Ferran Cruixent, a classical music composer who collaborated on the orchestral arrangements for Rosalía's tour. Ferran Cruixent explains that there are no synthesizers or plugins on the entire album LUX. Everything was recorded with real instruments and then processed in production, something the team is very proud of. You can hear it here on Focu 'Ranni, for example.

Gracias!

This masterpiece from the 2026 album Lux is so much more than just a song because it represents a spiritual and cultural bridge between the Spanish heritage of Rosalía and the deep mystical traditions of Sicily. By choosing to sing in the Sicilian language Rosalía pays the ultimate respect to the Santuzza because she understands that only the raw and visceral sounds of this ancient language can truly capture the fire of such a legendary devotion. The title Focu ranni refers to the Great Fire which symbolizes both the burning faith of the people of Palermo and the incredible strength of Santa Rosalia who was a noblewoman that famously chose her own independence over a forced marriage of power. She rejected her wealthy life and a promised husband to live as a hermit on Mount Pellegrino and this act of rebellion makes her a timeless icon of female freedom that perfectly aligns with the artistic message of Rosalía today. This tribute is a powerful reminder that light and liberty are born from the courage to say no and it is truly breathtaking to hear a global star bring the history of Palermo to the entire world with such passion and authenticity. Viva Palermo and Santa Rosalia.

You guys are not ready for the LUX tour. I can't wait for your review. Great reaction.

We are so proud of our Spanish Angel!! She is an ARTIST 👏👏
