She cleared her throat because she had A LOT to say

Even if u dont react to it you should listen to her live version of this album My 21st Century Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall, its on spotify, her live performances of songs often carry so much more power and emotion than the studio versions

You can see why Raye was so keen to put Mike Sabbath, the amazing producer, front and centre here. Production on this Album is amazing, as you often point out. Raye is no mean producer herself, and like with any great collaboration the result is more than additive.

Raye is singlehanded the Beatles of our millennium.

This was my album of the year in 2023. It came out right at the end of my toxic relationship with my ex, and it honestly helped me through the last months of the relationship and the breakup.

There was substance use and abuse on both sides, so a lot of the themes in the album really hit close to home. At the time, there was still a part of me that hoped we could work things out and that he would somehow be worth it, and I wasn’t really working on myself either.

Even though he did hurt me quite a bit, I don’t really blame him or hold it against him. He was ill. He was struggling with addiction and psychosis. I think that’s also why I held on for so long. I kept hoping he would get better and that somehow everything would go back to normal.

Currently Body Dysmorphia hits close to home. I honestly don’t feel like dating anyone new at the moment because I’m so insecure about my physical appearance.

But on a lighter note: RAYE also co-wrote “FUFN,” “Midnight Cowboy,” and “Silent Disco” by JADE.

Once I discovered Raye, I absorbed every last video of her I could find and there are a lot! I am Raye obsessed. I have learned so much about song writing and vocal technique by listening to her. Great Reaction. You must listen to Royal Albert Hall. Sensational triumph.

WOW, I loved this reaction! It’s truly a powerful album from a powerful artist who deserves a lot, a lot of recognition.
She has a single called “Genesis.” It’s a powerful and impactful song, with an equally incredible music video. It’s worth checking out if you’re interested. Great video, thank youuu

Wow wow wow absolutely loved your reaction you have such a balance and poise to your words. I have watched hundreds of reactions to RAYE since discovering her and your the first I'll subscribe to.

Watching this video with you was like the first time I ever listened to it and believe me I can't give you any higher compliment.

Since this album RAYE has went on to heavily tour and craft her writing and singing abilities. She is an absolute creative genius. For me No one is even close to her at this point she can blend genres with ease.

I'd recommend you definitely watch her live performances where she puts in so much emotion into her songs that it often leaves people in a standstill. She will make you laugh cry or shock you all in one song. There's a reason many describe her is an artist of a generation including myself.

I'd love you to listen to her second release from her upcoming album called Nightingale Lane at Abbey Road studios for an example of her singing live.

Good luck with your channel and please more RAYE content. ❤
