In this very informal conversation, I ask my Thai friend Mai what Thai women actually think about dating foreign men, how foreigners should approach Thai women, whether age differences really matter, and how dating culture in Thailand differs from what she recently experienced during three months in Australia.
We also talk about the stereotypes surrounding Pattaya, why you shouldn't assume every Thai woman you see with a foreign man is in a transactional relationship, cultural differences in Thai relationships, dating apps in Thailand, and how a foreign guy looking for a serious relationship might actually go about meeting someone.
This wasn't planned as an interview. It was just a conversation between two friends that started because Mai thought I was wrong. And I was. Which is ok. It's part of my charm lol

When you’ve been around the world and had a good education and a good career then you can make a sound judgement.
I only found Thailand on Retirement at 59 sadly but love it and the culture,back this Novemberfor 5Months and will stay in BKK actually Ekkamai! I play Golf from BKK and travel to Hua Hin/Pattaya and Vietnam for visa.
Also met a few very good Thai Women and currently have a girlfriend in BKK.
So don’t judge us who are educated and wise.
There are thousands of Thai Girls after a sugar Daddy or good partner as most have come from poverty so don’t judge them either.
