After my last video comparing Thailand vs Vietnam for retirement, I received a bunch of comments asking why I haven't moved to Vietnam yet (given that I like it so much!)
In this video I finally answer that question.
I discuss why Thailand's retirement visa matters more than I originally admitted, why different countries may suit different people depending on whether you're a man, woman, gay or straight, and why—despite everything I love about Vietnam—I still consider Thailand my home.
This isn't another objective comparison of healthcare, infrastructure or cost of living.
This is simply my personal and hugely biased opinion after living in Thailand for more than 10 years and spending significant time living in Vietnam.
If you're researching retiring in Thailand, living in Thailand, moving abroad, or trying to decide between Thailand vs Vietnam, I hope this gives you another perspective.
