I bought 2 used motorcycles and a used car here, no hassle. Just find a seller with a good reputation. Or, use an agent or a lawyer.
Go check the car out, drive it (if you don't know about cars, bring someone that does), fill out the papers, and the seller does everything else! They serviced the vehicles before delivery too, and full deep cleaning of the car outside and inside!

Honda HR-V model is fully built in Thailand exported to all ASEAN , UAE , Australia so getting spare parts is not a problem. Due to high manufacturing cost in Japan, many automakers moved to thailand in the 80s. Thailand is actually THE place to buy Japanese cars now :)
