A great guest who showed genuine respect for Vietnam - something I value in foreign visitors. I fully understand her reasons for leaving, as different life stages demand different priorities. Brother there is nothing wrong with being “cheap”. What matters is the character and he might be there for a different reason not your idea of a foreigner.

The person might be there to train Muay Thai, stay in hostel, train, sleep and repeat.

It’s funny how people generalize everything as if they are correct or are different.

She is a good woman but hearing her pride about strong women is really disappointing to me. I get so tired of this new attitude of strength and boss blah blah blah. I would love to have a healthy woman that did not constantly think of these role defining terms but just lived in a pure mindset. Give and take, understanding and respect, and basically just remembering this person you are with is not in this life to take care of you but live along with you so that you have someone to care about. Someone to connect with in an otherwise cut throat world in many instances.
