i just realized "Nakali" is like short of "nakalimutan", which literally translates to "forgotten".

Glad that you love it, man. You just don't watch in one angle & being shady like other people, of course. As I've said in some who reviewed & like it. Those people who really understand life & have a ❤️ are the ones who will be captured by this movie. And you are one of them. You really get what this movie tying to convey. I hope some people do as well after the watch when it's out on Friday, Sept. 25. Because it is such a fun, vibrant & rich film where you will be immersed in the entire time. 👍🏽

10/10 movie ❤

Since it's about the Philippines, I wish it had more music too... I know Disney already does that, but hey, Filipinos love singing! 🎵🎶 We should hear manang sing too 😢 But I feel like Lea's singing voice is already a Disney trademark 😢

Another great review. Are you going to review avengers endgame Encore this week?

Thanks for the raving review. I love RAW, Dave Franco: our honorary Filipino Tito. Such a shame he wasn't in the premier in the Philippines. I love that you loving the movie too but The Guardian called exhausting to watch on Rotten Tomatoes. But I disagree it's really fun. May be it doesn't appeal to Audience over 70 y/o like the one who wrote the review.

how about a title like “Nakali” (The Forgotten Island)

* might give some curiosity as to where/what is Nakali 😂

it was a fun experience watching it on 4DX
Sequel for Manang? Prequel for Lola?
or Lola & Manang are the same person? 🤔

Just watched "Forgotten Island".
This movie is indeed one cultural appropriation after another!

Showing how ignorant the directors and the American colonizers are to our native Filipino cultural sensibilities!
Congratulations to Dreamworks for making fun of our Filipino culture!

For tokenizing anything Filipino in the film.
For misportraying the Filipino mythical characters in the film.
For the un-Filipino way the so-called "Filipino" main characters speak English in the film.
For the many incorrect use of Tagalog words in the film.
For the offensive misuse of our Philippine Sun of our 🇵🇭 in the film.

"Forgotten Island" is a Pretentious cultural appropriation film indeed!

Cringe!
"Forgotten Island" is one cultural appropriation after another by White Capitalist Hollywood to our beloved distinct Filipino culture.
So offensive!

Even Disney's "Engkanto" looks more sincerely Filipino🇵🇭
Than this "Forgotten Island" cringy pretentious cultural appropriation movie!
