Me and my dad saw this movie, we migrated here in US 2012, watched it by early screening amc metreon 16 unfortunately they don’t have the livestream interview by the cast but we really enjoyed it a lot that my dad was smiling through out the movie, it gives me tears of joy watching it, specially seeing my dad having fun with this movie & understanding that this is Filipino folklore.
We miss you mom 😘 im going to watch this again and again ❤

I worked on the cfx for this movie. A key scene I animated was Raw opening his jacket to show off his tattoos. Super excited to see this reaction. 🎉

This movie gets nominated for best animated feature next year Oscar

Forgotten Island reminds me of The Hangover with heart—a story about never forgetting the people who shaped you.

Saw this at a secret screening last monday and really adored it. Really one of the best movies of the year.

Caught an early screening of this yesterday, absolutely loved it.

Me and friends went to watched it, it was cinema!!! 10/10 movie

Definitely gonna check this one out!

My wife and I watched this movie Sunday at a special screening. We both enjoyed it. The characters and story told a mature/adolescent story we've been missing in animated films. The different styles of animation used really complemented the overall film. I do encourage people to watch this movie.

Saw this one as part of the “AMC Screen Unseen” series, and it was absolutely delightful. For me, it’s the second best animated film of the year so far, just behind “Minions and Monsters”, and ahead of “Toy Story 5”, “Hoppers”, and “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie”. Probably my number 4 favorite film of the year overall.

Inspite or despite of every comments I read, good and bad, still going to watch it👍

I went to an early screening at AMC yesterday and the total attendance was 69 people. There were families and couples.  The only issue was the Q&A segment at the end which had audio issues luckily someone uploaded the whole segment to Youtube.

my early Access Screening was full i love this movie

I brought my parents to see this film yesterday for an early screening and and all i hear at the end of the film was everyone sniffing my mom included its honestly such a great story and very well written not to mention the glorious animations. This film is just amazing

Just watched this, I’d give it 8.3.  My daughter loved it, everytime she thought is was finished she got upset, she wanted it to keep on going.  My only criticism is it’s too fast and in your face 😂

Forbidden Island is currently doing a collaboration with Jolibee.

Good movie watched it during Screen unseen at AMC,  excellent year for animated movies with Wildwood coiningnout next month.

I saw the movie last Sunday and I loved it as much as you did. I can't help but want to bring up a certain spoiler but of course only read it if you saw the movie. Spoilers below

Did anyone else notice the climax was similar to Thunderbolts and Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

It takes place inside memories of the two main characters as Raissa goes through them, like how the Thunderbolts characters went through Bob's memories. And then the climax culminated with an emotional conversation between Raissa and a memory vision of young Jo similar to the scene in Brand New Day with Jean Grey talking to a memory vision of Aunt May inside a memory. In other words for the case of those 3 movies, they save the day with the power of friendship. Even if I have seen that type of climax in Forgotten Island from other movies before, it emotionally resonated with me as much as Thunderbolts and Brand New Day did. Call me crazy, but I want more of this trope in movies.

Going to watch this tomorrow

Dont forget this is about Filipino folklore. Knowing my people they will tell everyone about this movie. It will make $$$$
