The fact you say you agree with everything he says but are still gonna keep your gun because it's your right basically sums up the gun problem in the USA..x

We gotta get that part 2 ASAP

If the car has a 20% chance of crashing, stuff the seatbelt, I wouldn't be in the car.

I'm a gun owner as well. Concealed carry and everything. And most of what he said is correct. Most of our gun regulation exists or doesn't exist because the gun lobby makes certain politicians rich. Nobody gives a fuck about our rights or what's the best for public safety. They care about which decision will help them afford that house and car that you look at and go "Wait a politician probably shouldn't be able to afford that..."

I think a better analogy would be "If I told you this car had an 80% chance of blowing up, would you still drive it?"

4:20 no dude... It's like getting in a car that when you get in, you have an 80% chance of crashing into a wall and a 20% chance you hit someone else....

That is a really strange statement,  "Im a PROUD Gun owner"   really,  its a tool.  are you a proud hammer owner too?  I had guns for years,  it was for hunting,  never once did the thought occur to me, to use this on a human.  Im Australian and am over 60yrs old.  You guys need to realize that the wild west is over.  stop worshipping weapons,  why do you hate each other so much?  I have never feared my fellow Australians.  I feel sorry you have to live in a permanent state of fear

Every time theres a school shooting they start talking about arming school personnel. Tf you mean you aint heard of anyone saying that

that little "from time to time we all get sad" song has stuck with me for like ten years now

Please do part 2!! It’s even better than this one.

2025. americans defending guns is fucking hilarious.

Love how you're not an ignorant gun owner that can watch without getting enraged. Part two whenever it behooves you please. Live the channel.

What makes you a "proud gun owner"?
Like, where's the pride?  Are you proud because you purchased something?  Completed shopping successfully?  Had a list of 3 things to buy and got them all without messing it up?  Seems an odd thing to be proud of.

It’s important that we all remember that you can be supportive of something but also acknowledge that it could also use some serious refining. Great reaction!

“Swiss cheesed in the 3rd grade” killed me😂

🎉Anthology Jeselnik  “fire in the maternity ward”

Enjoyed your reaction.  Please do Part 2.

As an Aussie, I'd like to clarify some things.  By US standards, it can be argued that Australia always had strict gun laws.  But it was all done at the State level and, as is usual for Australian States, they all had their own ideas on what to do and #### the rest.  Wisely or unwisely, the Federal Government mostly stayed out of that particular fight.

Then the Port Arthur Massacre happened (In Tasmania, which had notably lax gun laws), and the general mood became one of, "We have to get serious about this."  All of the States eventually came on board and, after much discussion, new laws were set up at the Federal level.

You can still own guns here, but there is a strict licensing and vetting process to get though.  Amongst other things, you get asked WHY you want a gun - 'Self Defense' or 'Home Security' are not adequate answers.  You get asked about how the weapon will be stored, and this does get checked on.  Some gun types are banned outright, or need a special license in and of themselves to possess.  No conceal-carry permits, except for actual law-enforcement.

Are illegal weapons still out there?  Of course.  But crimes involving guns are rare, and actual shootings even rarer.  Criminal gangs know that they do NOT want that level of attention.  We don't have armed guards or weapon detectors in our schools either.  I will not say it is perfect, things never are, but if I hear a BANG when walking down the street I'm far more likely to think it is a car backfire or something.  It's all reflected in the statistics, something Australia takes seriously and is very very good at.

Anecdote time.  Swear this is entirely true, no exaggeration.  I was friendly online with some quite nice Americans when the gun bans came in, and they suddenly messaged me in great concern.  According to the "news" they had read, Australia had immediately gone completely to ####.  As near as I can understand the claims., every gun-deprived sicko, psycho and crim in the country had all bought kitchen knives, then went out on mass stabbing sprees to jack up the murder rate.  This totally did not happen, I should say - but I was so utterly dumbfounded by these claims that I probably didn't express myself as well as I could.  Btw, statistics at the time showed an odd wobble in the violent crime rate, followed by a definite decline.

I personally believe that a huge part of the USA's gun problem comes from the big gun corporations, which make ridiculous amounts of money from all this.  They hand money off to sympathizers in politics and the media, and promote fear and paranoia,.  The NRA used to be all for safety and education, and was even favorable about registration.  Now, it is basically this screaming thing whose answer to any problem is "MORE GUNS!!!!"

We Aussies like you Yanks, we really do.  But everybody has their own special areas of stupid, and Guns seem to be a huge one for you guys.  Hoping you can somehow find a way, because what you have now is simply insane to us.

The mentality of "If its not illegal Im gonna do it, f*ck the mortality, ethics and risks involved. Its legal" is my most hated person

20% chance to crash in your hypothetical car? I’ll walk.

You have to do part two immediately
