Put those footprint issue/ floating base orks on clear acrylic 32mm bases to play them. it's not quite as malicious but slightly more compliant.

Would have been nice to have a photo of the ork on screen while Jake is reviewing it.

I love the fact for silhouette ork, he didn't say no he said "Probably Not™" which means in layman's terms "depends on which judge you get because I know one of them would approve it for the bit"

Kudos to your willing victim for sticking to the rules, being pragmatic and maintaining a sense of humour. Great piece of content and very entertaining.

"Is your opponent laughing with you" seems like the only sensible rule and I'd laugh a lot if I saw most of these across the table. Maybe some of them would get hard to read in significant numbers but overall I hope all of my opponents have as much creativity and put as much effort into their models as you. Great vid!

Would be fun to have the shadow orc continue to be invisible but have his equipment, ergo gun and such, "hover" in the air. It would still be an invisible orc but also have SOME of the intended orc model parts to represent it.

I hope atleast some of the funny orkz are legal by oomie standards, some orkz may be too sneaky for oomies to count it as fair...

@b3ead 3 weeks ago

It would have been nice to see the finished model as he talked about it
Its been a while so a refresher of its actual look would be nice

I love how the judge is amused and (I believe) like the idea, but is really trying to see it from the serious side.

20:25 this reminds me of the f1 videos where they talk about how a new part is “legal” right before instantly banning them

The thumbnail parody of half the popular YT Warhammer content is on point

The Grot in Dads boots with Dads tools being legal makes me happy! 😂

So, since you need a base to measure from, and the first orc would have worked because of the "bottle cap", does this mean if you stuck Double Ork Seven onto a clear, thin, 32mm circle of plastic it would count?

Double Ork Seven would then be made of primarily GW plastic, be painted, have a base painted and textured, not be modeled for advantage, and have a measureable footprint.

Edit: i have been corrected, these orks stand on 32mm.

I still like the ork of death strikes past, as he is a shadow of his former self.

So you can have a single SpOrk in your army maybe (have back ups)

the reveal at 20:46 broke me that had no reason to be that funny

I love that Jake understands what you're getting at and is rolling with it! I'd feel very comfortable going to an event Jake was working at.
Echoing the request for a photo of the relevant figure while Jake is reviewing it.

Best 40k content in years from anyone. Warhammer being fun again, it's just so crazy it might just work. Pay attention the rest of you phone it in Youtubers, this is how you do content!

"Gonna go update my packet right now..." while chuckling shows how chill this man actually is, props and respect.

Who knew that hobbying could be fun again?
Congratulations on the Malicious Compliance. Jake was a trouper to get through some of those Orks.
The longform videos are a great complement to the daily shorts.
