What i hate is that when people say "things were better back then" people always assume is because of childhood, romanticize, or rose tinted/ nostalga goggles.

But, NO!

Is not just because of our childhoods, things were legitimately better back then.

And ironically using phones all the time for everything makes things harder then when we did it the old fastioned way, we got to do something about this.

I think being poor is illegal nowadays. Edit: wowwww can't believe someone is telling me how nice it is to be homeless. I used to be homeless and it's not fun. I thought everyone already knew that was obvious

this is why we're the first generation to be that unlucky. When we're little, we read and watch the Lorax and Walle and it warned us about the future.

Requiring a phone to pay for parking is dystopian, and this is gonna be worse from now on. No one needed this...

My partner has a bare minimum phone that has gps, calls, text, and music. They get worried when going out in public for stuff like this. Once, because a place only had their menu on qr codes and no physical version, we just walked out. Its crazy you cant even sit down and eat at some places without a smart phone.

It's just sad that we are moving towards this bleak dystopian future where nobody sees any hope. There have been so many books, stories, movies, tv shows, games and anime about this and humans are like "okay, but there's money to be made".

We need laws that ban situational/dynamic pricing. We should make a law that bans any price changes of any retail goods or services any more often than once per day at midnight.

I'm so sick of downloading apps!!!!! i have to download a fucking app to order a bubble tea at a small bubble tea joint in the city that literally has like 4 seats and the waiting area is the size of my bedroom. they will straight up turn you away if you try to order at the counter. you don't need all my contact details for a fucking bubble tea

had to jailbreak my printer and modify the cartriges when hp became a dicc. if they want to gouge me out of my money i will gouge their buisness.

I’m just so tired of this world. It’s like when it’s MY turn to be an adult. There’s no hope. I remember back then, I had a printer and I didn’t have to pay subscriptions. I even remember how everything before all of the stupid data tracking was so colorful like fast food, malls weren’t abandoned, and supermarkets had a comforting atmosphere. Now it’s all stupid minimalism and corporate greed. I want to go back :(
