Maybe everyone was right and GTA: San Andreas really is the best Grand Theft Auto game. Let’s find out by taking a road trip.

Why do they keep saying “listener”? I don’t know. But the underpants are goated regardless. ALSO: I'll be at Open Sauce (nerd convention) this weekend in San Francisco(ish). July 18-19. Not doing anything formal but I will be walking around, so don't hesitate to say hi if you see me out and about.

The funniest part of the airport matching the Toronto Pearson airport is that the Toronto Pearson airport is located in the Greater Toronto Area or as it's referred to here in Canada, The GTA.

no games will ever come close to how gta san andreas makes you feel. you feel attached to each location. each locations has about 20 missions

A part of my childhood still lives in San Andreas

I never really clocked the way that having to return to Grove Street to save reinforces the way it feels like home, but now you've said it it makes total sense. It helps explain why you end up feeling so unmoored when you get exiled from Los Santos.

GTA San Andreas is pretty much a Gangsta Odyssey

22 years old game and we still discuss it. That says everything about the game's quality.

Getting my dad to punch and old lady by telling him press square to talk to people and him being super angry with me because he is super non violent is my favourite memory of this game love you dad

17:20 we do put beacon lights onto mountains for aircraft navigation, at least around airports that are flanked by mountains. Same reason there are those red balls on power lines. But the beacons usually flash red light, instead of emitting a solid white light. Still though, very much a real equipment. Check out chapter 2, section 2 of the FAA's AIM (Air Navigation and Obstruction Lighting).

SA being a road trip is exactly why i love it so much.
Also thank you for using OG footage, not the "remaster"

One more thing to add, on the bulgary missions, you can see and explore different interiors of different houses. I remember breaking into the mansions and was shocked on how huge those houses are.

Purple sunset lighting credit goes to my talented pal Scotty (whose name can also be found on a tombstone in Los Santos)

The lights are to call Rohan in times of war.

33:33 this overpass is modeled after a real place! It's called The Stack. There's no parking lot directly underneath it, but the parking lot for the local PBS station KLCS is tucked into one of its corners.
