The only "Perfect" thing about Cell is how much of a FUCKING FRAUD he is

@edwinisahiamgordon 6 months ago

Fun Fact:
In 26:00 Metal Spoke with time stopped and then not, meaning Cell only heard the "Then so am I" part which stills work as threat because the point of the sentance remains heard. Joker vs Giorno had something similar where Joker said "Checkmate" at the beginning but Golden Experience nullyfied him so in fact Joker was right when almost in the end he said "I think you didn´t heard me before, Checkmate."

Highballed cell and lowballed metal btw 🥀 cell was fucked from the start

@patricktravis1720 6 months ago (edited)

Shinki let's be real here Cell was fucked the minute it was mentioned Metal Sonic could copy his opponents' bio data, in fact Metal Sonic is so broken they actually had to nerf him or the fight would of ended in like 3 seconds they needed to make it so Cell could actually put up a fight.

24:12, that’s actually Little Planet from Sonic CD.

But for real, I’m hesitant to say this because of how recent this battle came out, but I think this just became my new favorite Death Battle episode. DA really cooked here for his final episode and the voice performances he gave for both Cell AND Metal were just so damn cool.

Many, many people found out on this day that Metal Sonic is amongst the peak of all of fiction.

Cell had some amazing aura moments too of course but damn. Metal Sonic bro. It's so crazy that this character has been set to the side for most of the last three decades. He blew us away with his appearance in Sonic Heroes just to fade into obscurity again until recent years thanks to IDW's comics.

Looking forward to seeing his popularity really boom with this and eventually Sonic's 4th movie.

DevilArtemis and nem really cooked up something FABULOUS
Sad to see Artemis leave but the fight was so good

Cell: "Oh, you're approaching me?"
Metal Sonic: "I can't copy your data without getting close."

There was actually a song, it was called Metal as Cell by Therewolf Media

I think Sonic CD was the first appearance of Metal Sonic

Im glad youre a good sport about it ^^ This is my favorite battle by far honestly.

@roberthohman4637 6 months ago (edited)

Yeah that level of copy ability broke the fight the moment metal had the chance to use it.

PS. Also this was the last time DevilArtemis will be animating for Death Battle. Fitting that the final one they had him animate included the character he focuses his channel on.
PSPS. First time seeing your channel and was a good vid. Might drop by again for other stuff.

20:59 - Not completely. Metal Sonic did go rogue in Sonic Free Riders, though only to bodyjack a generic Eggman robot, copy all the game’s racers, and challenge Sonic to 1v1 him on the track. He lost.

The next time Metal Sonic went Neo, Eggman made a point to do it himself and be thorough with the upgrades but it took too long for him to show up in Sonic Forces or it’s side materials. So Metal Sonic just took Eggman’s likeness and went back to business as usual because the real Eggman went missing at the time. So Metal Sonic settled on the Plan B of invading Angel Island while Knuckles was away to claim the Master Emerald, take over the world, and then search everywhere for Eggman to give him the empire back.

24:22 sonic 3 movie reference

Cell does know the spirit bomb, like he knows all the other techniques the Z Fighters know, though he only uses it in some of the games.

Guys be easy on Shinki here please, we all have a love for both characters but it doesn't mean we can just be ruthless on either of them if Shinki here is a fan, we all love Death Battle all the same

@AllucardBR-JPFS 6 months ago

i said this in another comment, but it really is funny how people react to finding out about Metal, "washed" sonic is disgustingly powerful and he just has the unfortunate issue of being JUMPED every single time, no one fights him fair.

In fact, that was cell first and only mistake, he fought Metal on 1v1, even in that infamous scene people love to joke about, in the DC x Sega crossover where Batman took out Metal sonic with his Bike, had Batman just grab the emerald and dip before metal could be repaired or actually fight him. Mr. "plot armor" himself didn't bother to fight Metal sonic 1v1 because it was not worth he smoke

@TheRoyalCourt44 4 weeks ago

Metal letting his arm get destroyed just to regenerate it to flex is peak disrespect

@bobwiznowski932 6 months ago

They didnt mention it in DB but metal can not only copy all of your abilities and powers he also gets your memories, knowledge and experiences as well from scanning your bio data and copying it. So there was nothing cell could of done that metal didnt already know from the copying.
