The pale Yellow of Super Shadow was actually a thematic choice, to represent his awakening and turn "to the light"

This was the best animation ever made.

The details, Impact frames and scenes were so beautifull

8:19 I used to feel the same, but someone put it in a way I like. Super sonic is bright like the sun, and super shadow is bright like the moon

33:06 What if Amber/Ambertwo shouted to Mewtwo as they died out of concern for her friend that’s why Mewtwo could hear her voice as he perished

It's less a pale yellow, and instead Platinum, a complete inversion's of Shadow's normal color.
Honestly it's cooler than just making everyone Gold like Super Sonic, as their Super Forms become more personal for each of them.

"Teamed up with Batman" is referencing a very recent collaboration between DC and IDW to make the Sonic Characters team up with the Justice League.

Sonic teamed with Flash, Amy teamed with Wonder Woman, and Silver temporarily became a Green Lantern.

The series currently has two arcs.

The Darkseid arc, where the two universes were introduced to each other, and the Leagon of Doom arc, the current one where Doctor Eggman has teamed up with Lex Luther and other DC villains.

You should do Saitama vs Popeye before the next new episode not just because it ties in to the next battle but it’s one of the most craziest battle

Happy your back shiniki and holy peak this was awesome I'm guessing it's back to the death battle grind with you

Technically you wouldn't have seen the Amber part in the original movie, since 4kids deemed that part "Too traumatic for children" and censored the FUCK out of it, removing that whole part entirely, the only way to see that is watching the original movie subbed.

30:42 I like how every reactor with some Pokémon knowledge questions why Mewtwo uses swift

Well you have lore vs game mechanics. If Pokemon had the power they're supposed to Gardevoir would be making black holes, celebi would have time manipulation regigigas would be moving continents, lugia would be controlling the weather by manipulating ocean currents.

38:20 That’s something Death Battle insists is wrong: Super forms don’t have a time limit. Sonic has stayed in Super form for weeks without issues. Of course, if you take a hit powerful enough (which is nearly impossible) or overexert yourself, the Super form might end, however, when that happened in *Sonic Frontiers*, Sonic was stunned for just a few seconds and instantly reverted to Super form, so that wouldn't really help much.

My favorite bit of the post fight analysis is that Mewtwo got ONE advantage, Versatility, and then in the very next category they're like "Shadow basically resists all of Mewtwo's shenanigans because it's been done to him before and failed, so Mewtwo wouldn't get a chance at a war of attrition."

So that literally just leaves Mewtwo's only meaningful thing as a tie in skill.
