Thank you for the support on the reaction! It's so cool seeing two of my  favourite franchises on the same screen together, even if its a little silly lol

A lot of you were wanting me to watch more death battle and I have in an older VOD!
It's timestamped so please enjoy!

I can cut out the death battle and upload it if its easier!

Thank you again!

This was just a great, educational nature documentary. Bugs are a great source of protein of hedgehogs.

Yeah, the moment Metal Sonic copied Cell's data it was over. Like mentioned in a previous Death Battle "Eggman vs Wily", Eggman really stepped up his game when creating Metal.
The "I'll Crush You" was originally from Super Mario Bros. Z which the line itself was a line spoken by Cooler in one of the Dragon Ball Z games.

Also two things Aimee missed that she would've fangirled over.

1) During Metal's first Chaos Control, how Cell started beating him up is choreographed exactly how Shadow beat up Sonic in Sonic 3.
2) When Cell says "You're dealing with the ultimate life-form", Metal replies back with "I already possess his data."

First time finding you, hearing ya love for metal i was like, shes a Sonic fan... looked at her youtube page... yep shes a Sonic fan...

The animation went crazy on this one. Devil Artemis really went out with a bang with this being his final animated fight in Death Battle.  I can't wait for you to check out some of their other battles. Simon the Digger vs Kyle Rayner is considered by many in the community to be one of their best yet 🔥

The fact that Metal is a robot means he doesn’t really have stamina, which also means he can spam Chaos Control unlike Shadow and others.

This battle has so many cold as fuck lines from Metal.

Congratulations on being the first streamer I've seen clock that What I'm Made Of came in at the end!

18:55 - Metal Sonic Kai refers to Metal Sonic’s second body, which was debuted in Knuckles Chaotix. Sonic apparently trashed the old body really badly at one point (likely during Generations in hindsight), so Eggman built the Metal Sonic Kai body out of Dark Rings (an artificial Ring-like power source Eggman was experimenting with at the time). The Metal Sonic Kai name was misattributed to Metal Sonic’s red giant monster form at the end of Knuckles Chaotix and stuck. Later on, Ian Flynn was tasked with writing for a comprehensive Sonic encyclopedia and canonized the fan naming for simplicity because clearing the mix-up would’ve been confusing. So Metal Sonic is technically Metal Sonic Kai all the time since it refers to his current base form (since he seems to have carried the second body into Modern) in addition to the red kaiju transformation.

Metal Sonic to Shadow: “You know, you actually saved me.”

if you know the fan game called sonic final fantasy X6.
some talented animaters made a remastered version of the opening as a tribute for the original creature!
it's a masterpiece ✨

25:51 Fun fact: You can actually see silloettes of Cell's previous forms in the fire. 😅

if I was an anime I would look and sound exactly like 27:54 whEN I SAW THAT AND HEAD THAT SHIT

27:24
Perfect Cell: I am not just the greatest warrior in the universe! I AM ALL OF THEM!!!

Neo Metal Sonic: If you are all of them...

Neo Metal Sonic Z: ...then so am I.

That exchange is branded into my mind ever since.

27:58 I wonder there would a cover song for that 😊

I wasn't expecting a DB video. This is going to be good!

so, in another alternate reality, I am seeing a vtuber who's name connects to Doc and conneting it with her obsession to Sonic-type of content, my hypothesis (and my fanon version) is that this is Maria Robotnik and her obsession to Sonic is due to her grandad being also obsessed with otherworldly beings

I still wonder why death battle said chaos control can boost the user’s speed in this episode and no one questioned it chaos control can’t do that the two examples they show on screen are actually shadow stopping time and warping space which is what chaos control actually does
