I cannot believe someone genuinely thought Batman would not work in a horror setting…

How r/ArkhamBatman reacted with no new games

Well… I can’t wait for the rest of this series, because I know for a fact that eventually, we’ll get to…. MAN.

The fact that there’s been people talking about games like this since for a long time makes me feel a whole lot better

sigh Somehow Joker slipped out of his handcuffs

9:11 these kind of people are the reason why the last time we've seen Robin in a live action film was in the 90s

10:54 That's just Infamous

NO JOKE I fell asleep watching this and had a dream/nightmare I was Batman in the asylum

10:08 IDK in the Serenity movie we learn that there was a drug meant to pacify populations but a percentage turned into hard to kill rage monsters called reavers. That sounds like a Batman Arkham plot.

2:45  'I loved, I suffered, now I hate' adds a lot more to a character we never see. He speaks french and slipped into insanity after losing a loved one. Could be a joke from the Joker though

This is so fascinating to see what the hype was like behind the first game of a long franchise of insane games! I remember in 2008 or 2009, I got my first console ever, a Xbox 360! And I don’t even remember asking my dad or grandma for Arkham Asylum for Christmas, but it turns out they got it for me! Which I was super excited to play! And I remember that same night on Christmas Eve I went home and played it and was glued to my tv! I love Batman and will always cherish these Arkham games!

9:54 Dude that literally is the plot of Serenity. There was a colony and the government tried using drugs to keep everyone calm. Half the people went so calm they stopped doing anything including eating and stuff and half the people had an adverse reaction and killed everyone and became the infamous Gorman Reavers mentioned throughout the show Firefly and featured as antagonists in the Serenity movie.

Are these people why tim drake is so unrecognizable in arkhamverse

The Arkham games Batman is my definitive batman, Kevin's voice is iconic, the suit is as well.

You forgot to show the real first showcase of Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) which was actually featured in September of 2008 when The Dark Knight (2008) finally came out in DVD and Blu-Ray. It was a quick trailer that was shown during the first commercials before the main menu

I’d love to see you do this to more games

It's honestly just kinda crazy to think about how GOOD this game was for It's time. Like damn

May, June and July were crazy months for 2008...and then the economy crashed in October. Remember that

9:56 no he's talking about Serenity. In the movie the crew find a planet that the alliance has kept secret and see that everyone is mysteriously dead. Not poisoned or killed directly, everyone just laid down and died. They then find a recording that shows that the alliance used a drug on the population to keep them pacified, but it worked too well and most people just laid down and died of hunger as they became unwilling to do literally anything.
Long story short some people had the opposite reaction to the drug, becoming violent and barbaric, which is where the Reavers in Firefly came from. They're actually the result of the alliance trying to create a drug to pacify the population but ended up making a small percentage of them into what is essentially the infected from Crossed.

I can't wait for this to be released.
It feels like being Batman.

Can't wait for 2009
