Cheap Maserati is a bit of a misnomer given the running and maintenance and repair costs!

I've owned, and continue to own, multiple Porsche and Mercedes for decades and replaced leather dashes. I have two Maseratis and both have leather, including dashes, that seems to be holding up much better than my Porsche experience.

Both Maseratis, 2020 Ghibli SQ4 and 2012 Granturismo MC Sport Line, have been an absolute joy to drive. Maintenance is expensive, but Mercedes isn't cheap either.

Read the owner forums, not the folks unfamiliar with ownership. I got my first Maserati because Mercedes owner forums were so dismal. Traded a loaded beautiful 2020 BMW 540i MSport for the Ghibli; zero regrets.

Add insurance/road tax/maintenace cost comparison in next video please

Look at the array of manual controls and knobs on that L322. What a pleasure to operate. Why tf  don’t car makers give us those ?

Based on other comments, I reckon it'd be great to see a depreciating new car cost comparison, although it's a bit of effort to do (AI time 🙈😂). For example, buy the LS600h and it'll cost more to run than a £10k used Dacia, but you could compare it to financing a mid-spec £24k Clio, at which point I reckon the LS is probably cheaper over 3 years...

The later gen Skodas from the thumbnail are top of my "fine, I'll get something sensible so we can have a dog" car list 😂 The interiors feel like a huge step forward in design, which is the only thing I feel lets the older one in this video down.

Obviously the best Superb is the estate, preferably the 3.6 V6

👍👍👍👍👍

If I want all those cheap little nicknacks in the Skoda, I go to a £Poundstore.  180 bhp and a 4-cylinder engine plus those doesn’t make for a luxury car’!  😅

The Maserati is a rot box.  Front suspension rots out and subframe needs to be cut out to replace it.  Otherwise lovely

The issue with these cars wasn't the luxury of comfort, it was the looks, apart from the maserati, they were all ugly bulky cars. One thing had to give and unfortunately that was it.

None were underrated . They are cheap for a reason

Not sure you actually understand the term "value for money". It doesn't mean buying a Maserati or Range Rover that the market has correctly valued as worthless because it will bankrupt you with the running costs and repairs. All the hand waving and shouting at camera is not gonna change that. BTW. I have a 2023 Skoda Superb. So, I should have stopped viewing after 2 mins. The Phaeton will cost an arm and leg to run, since it is a stealth Bentley Continental. 😂
