A 2012 VW up at 11 k new 14 yrs old sells for 3,200 and a class Merc 34 k new estate same year very clean goes for 1400 pounds ,insane but that's the state of the car game.

At those prices it doesn't matter how much the road tax is! Don't know where that auction house is? I buy most of my cars from auction and have only ever had one bad one. But if you pay the right money and you are not happy with it, just chuck it back in another auction. Enjoyed the video, first watch for me.

Those are not bargains, they are what retail cars should actually cost

If it was me buy a few cars with 1500 left over in order to let enough expense to get what was needed for them and keep one car and sell the other or others

You didn't mention the dreaded "auction fees", you know, the money they get from the buyer AND the seller - - - - - not a bad thing is it, getting 2 lots of money for doing one thing........... a car sells for say £4000 and they get £500 from he buyer and seller - - - - £1000 for one sale!!!!!
