After 7 years, the online business I built came to an end.

For a long time, it was a huge part of my life. But instead of staying stuck in the past, I've decided to see this as an opportunity to explore something new.

So today, I began looking for my next business idea in China's massive wholesale markets.

I explored three completely different possibilities:

💎 Jewelry
👕 Clothing

Each one has its own opportunities, challenges, and possibilities.

But now, I need your help.

I would suggest to work with tourism. Thousands of people will visit China and you could create food tours in the most interesting cities.

Best idea for you- start a consultant and liaison business for foreigners waiting to trade with China. You have a trustworthy persona.

A lot of westerners are visiting China and those wholesale markets for products for their start up businesses, you could start a company showing them around various wholesale markets. Helping with orders and organising shipping back to the west. Showing them around different factories etc. You would do great.

Maybe you should do something with Chinese food. Everything you make looks absolutely delicious. Most people outside China have no idea what these dishes are, but would love to try them. I’d happily eat whatever you’re eating—you clearly have a talent for this!

To be honest Zaza, keep on with your films! build on your passion. There are thousands of people selling merchandise but your time is far better used creating your films. You're becoming more popular and everyone enjoys your adventures... keep going so we can keep viewing. Remember: "You have an abundance of everything that is good."

If you go with electronics I would concentrate on something you have experience of such as film equipment, cameras, tripods, lighting, stuff for youtubers, etc. But to be honest, your biggest asset right now is your personal brand. I would focus on this as it can have exponential results. You're one of the biggest, if not the biggest youtube channel about daily life in China, and have tapped into a market that westerners are absolutely fascinated by. If you can continue to grow this channel and also your food channel, the opportunity for decent sponsorships will open up. On the cookery side, many people in the west would love to know more about how to cook Chinese food like you do, and various opportunities could arise on that side too. Best of luck, and please keep making these videos! They're fascinating.

Kitchen tech would be my vote. Western audience definitely doesn't need more fast fashion or cheap jewelry options. i would be interested in niche tech.

Honestly, Zaza, this generation, here in the US at least, don't care a lick about real jewelry at all. It's sad but true. I have found this to be true regardless of socio/economic status. Medical devices or tech.

Do a "Zaza Box". Food subscription box with traditional chinese snacks and drinks by region, holidays, etc. Add a little mascot to each and boom. A lot of people love that type of thing. Myself included.

Zaza you should start a consultancy for ppl who wants to go china for sourcing - help link ppl with manufacturer / import - export paperwork. Or just do food tours
