Liveration

Welcome back to another Liveration video, this video features Tony ‪@HelenaOverlanderproject‬ who realised life is too short and decided to live in his self-converted, retired expedition truck?!

In this video, we hear how losing people close to him made Tony rethink life, make the most of the time he has left, and decide that living in a truck is the perfect retirement plan!

We also get a FULL TOUR of this incredible old expedition truck, which Tony has completely self-converted into a full-time home for himself and his wife.

Tony shows us just how comfortable life on the road can be, without giving up those modern-day comforts. This truck has pretty much everything you could need, including all the household mod-cons… even a WASHING MACHINE?!

So stick around for the full inside tour… and let us know in the comments:
Could you live in here?

A big thanks again to Tony, for sharing his story with us and showing us around his home on wheels!
Make sure to check him out on the socials!

The good thing about Tony's set up is he has got some land to go and park upon after his trip, then regroup and go again which is ideal,he's got a good outlook on life ,tomorrow is never guaranteed, so true

Really lovely guy. I love Liveration videos. Just hearing other peoples stories. Tony comes across especially well because he doesn’t seem to be selling “van life” as some perfect ideology. He’s basically saying: this works for us, work out what works for you. His line about building to your “skill set, tool set, money set and time set” is probably the nicest expression of that.

As a Dragoman Tour Leader I had this truck in Africa for a tour of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. Good to see her go to a good home - enjoy!

Tony’s the type of guy that you could sit back and enjoy a drink and chat about whatever you like. Lovely bloke and another great episode

This man understands what it’s about. I hope he is able to keep living this lifestyle for another 40 years to come!

What a lovely bloke with a very sensible attitude to life.

I don't understand why people leave horrible comments.
They don't have to live in his dream accommodation, so what's the point.
I think it's brilliant what they are doing. It's not for me, I have my own different dream I'm happily working on, but it's lovely to see other people's dreams come true. 😊

FairPlay to him. He comes across as a good person who is happy in his own skin.

Most people have done their bit by 40, especially 45, I know I had, and definately by 55. I admire those who give society the middle finger once they know they have grafted enough.. Fair play Tony and wife 👍👍👍👍🖕😂

That's why I retired early, you just never know how long you're going to be around. He's got the right idea.

What a wonderful man Tony is! He had a brilliant plan - buy a house with land, sell the house, keep the land as a home base and travel. The truck provides spacious living space for a vehicle with all the comforts of a traditional home. Well done! I wish you and your wife the best. Cheers from So. Calif.

His positivity for life is definitely reflected in their home on wheels. What a great home to live in. Hope you and your wife can enjoy this way of living for a very long time ❤

Absolutely admire your life choice. My job meant I could retire with a full pension and I planned similar to yourself. At 48 degenerative disc disease meant I retired on ill health and mynplans went down the s4it pan. Make the most of your truck and enjoy life.
