So Sonic Racing Crossworlds has been a massive hit for literally everyone, inside and outside of the community, The game has so many things goinf for it: the game modes, the character selection, the events, the customization and especially... their tracks. And so as a long standing sonic fan, I was curious to see how many of these tracks were maybe pulled or even inspired by different sonic levels, in this game which heavily pulls from sonic's history.
This video was pretty fun but also tiring to make since I basically learned the basics of Davinci Resolve by making it.
All song used are from the sonic games I referenced and Sonic R

-Magma Planet is not based on Lava Mountain from Sonic Lost World. It’s from Galaxy Force II
-Steampunk city actually looks waay more similar to Machine Labyrinth from Sonic Rush Adventure
-The mansion in Pumpkin Mansion may or may not be a reference to Night of the Werehog by the animation studio Marza who did the intro for this game too
-and a lot more😅
So I was wondering, would y’all be interested in a follow up video focused on filling up the holes in this one?
I will be picking and mentioning the comments that helped me find and clarify what I missed.
Let me know👀
