Disney is back at it again with some more Star Wars content! Bam bam bam! They don’t stop! This time, it’s called The Acolyte and it takes place in a galaxy far far away.

The Acolyte definitely raises some questions. Like why doesn’t anyone communicate properly on this show? Why did that which turn into a monster to deliver good news? Why did that Sith take his pants off?

To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Acolyte.

Watching a Pitch Meeting for a show you didn't watch and saving yourself 8 hours is tight

Your face after the chant was how the audience felt.

"So, you have a second season of The Acolyte for me? :D"
"No, sir, I don't."

"If there is no miscommunication in this show, then there is no show" ahhh the highest form of storytelling. Truly a masterpiece.

"proper communication would get in the way of the story I'm going to tell" – this is so true for a lot of stories we get today.

"So there's no soul? Also that guy died." Perfect.

"Proper communication would get in the way of the story I'm trying to tell."

Funny how Ryan manages to play two identical characters and make them more interesting and different in six minutes than The Acolyte managed in the whole series.
