The acctual tragedy of Darth Plagueis is that his first appearance is in Acolyte

I lost it at Darth Vader " The power of manyyyyyy" 😅

That intro caused irreparable, mental damage💀

"I've got a real strong feeling we haven't seen the last of the Acolyte."

And here we are, with the show cancelled.

This show was SIMPLY ABOUT HEADLAND and her vile believes. She told us in interviews that she wants to lift the stigma on the bad guys. Also she obviously transports the idea, that it is completely equal what you do, good or bad, as long as you are "feeling right".

These believes seem to spring from her own personal history. They are destructive in nature. This is for me the main reason, this show IS NOT Star Wars.

To be honest, making the Star Wars universe feel small is a crazy accomplishment.

The power of "Maannny" is people boycotting these awful shows by not watching them.

Basically Disney needs to take every achievement by the original characters and give it to their new ones
Han Solo didn’t redeem himself, he failed
Anakin wasn’t the chosen one, it was Rey
Luke didn’t defeat the empire and emperor, it was Rey
Plagueis didn’t discover how to create life, he learned it from the witches
etc.

It really blows my mind how thoroughly Kathleen Kennedy and Disney have ruined Star Wars, and in a relatively brief time period to boot.

Let's also not forget that Torbin was essentially sexually assaulted by an older stranger and wanted to do everything possible to leave the planet and get away from her. We even see him having a moment on the ship after the fact (not that any of the characters acknowledge it). Leslye Headland makes a big deal of his feelings of guilt and paints him as a bad guy...for being sexually assaulted.
Harvey Weinstein's former assistant, everybody.

Hearing that shit from Vader is devastating😢

When Vernestra finishes explaining herself, Yoda states, "GREAT deception I sense in you. BLAMELESS, Sol is! Think me blind, do you? Take over this investigation, I shall - a Jedi, YOU are NOT."

Alas, Disney still refuses to acknowledge that it’s DOING SOMETHING WRONG.

I am protesting KK being still in charge at Lucasfilms after so many disasters by canceling Disney Plus, and I liked both Andor and Asoka. As a 59-year Star Wars fan, I just can't watch her destroy it just because she can.

The first episode, an innocent person is accused of committing a horrible crime. It was done by her twin, who was believed to be dead. But they reveal that she is alive too early. Then the big plot twist in episode 3 is that the twin is alive. But we knew that in the first episode. Osha gets off the hook too early. wasted opportunity.

I still don't understand how Headland is not cancelled for being the former assistant of
Harvey Weinstein. If she was a man, people would freak out that someone with her past works on a huge franchise like Star Wars.

Regarding Master Sol, it's another mark of bad writing when the writer needs you to hate an otherwise grey, neutral character, and so rather than building it up over the story, they either: Have the character suddenly commit a bunch or war crimes, suddenly reveal a ton of closets loaded with skeletons, suddenly have the cast and narration start vilifying the character.
But in the case of the Acolyte, they couldn't even do that properly. They tried to vilify Sol for casing the death of OSHA's mother and the deaths of the witches, but the plot unintentionally justifies his actions: The witches were the aggressors, and the mother decided to peacefully turn into a smoke demon in front of Sol and start disintegrating Mae. And yet the plot still expects you to side with OSHA and Mae like Sol just committed this unforgivable sin.

"I was going to let you take Osha..."
"Why didn't you just say so?"
"She chose you..."
"That didn't answer the question..."
powerfully and bravely dies without purpose or meaning

The actions of Bazil when he sabotaged the ship were completely inexplicable. There was no foreshadowing, no hints, no rationale - nothing. It's one of those things that didn't necessarily have to be spelled out to the audience, but at least had to have believable hints that the character would act in that way.

There was nothing. It's indefensible. Headland's pathetic excuses to justify it are abysmal too, and screams that it's somebody who had no attention to detail with their own story and simply did things when they needed to happen regardless of logic. It's the same as Mae leaving Qmir to surrender to the Jedi but then completely flip that on its' head a bit later - nothing is given to the audience as to the 'how's and why's' of the motivation.

A pathetic show, truly one of the all time worst.
