Absolutely stunning!

Subbed for the ride, this will be fun!

Great first time reaction! Don't worry about the names or locations, you'll memorize them eventually as most of them are repeated often enough. The intro of each episodes is worth paying attention to, as it shows on the map the locations that are about to be shown during the episodes, with characters and events that happen there, plus it helps to imagine the world better when they travel and discuss various places.

I thought you did superb for your first video.  You don't have to apologize about your English. Most people will watch, enjoy every bit of your reaction and have the mind enough to respect and appreciate what you do. It is your channel and we are here and thankful for the time you spend and the effort you make.  Positive feedback in language is understandable, but those who might be negative about it lack integrity and just don't have an understanding of a world with 100s of different countries and languages. Anyway, i hope you stay with it.  I am along for the ride. If you decide to dedicate even more time to it and want more of this world...  A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, and House of the Dragon are also spinoffs that are excellent additions to a reaction channel.  Especially, A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms...It is only 1  season so far, but people have absolutely loved it.

Looking forward to the rest of your reactions to GOT, you seem really into the details and asking the right questions... Taking notes is DEFINITELY a wise move as well

You're going to enjoy this ride!  Subscribed to watch your reaction.

90th subscriber here.

And yes, the Dothraki wedding was filmed in Malta.

You are in for a lot of surprises.

9:16 Actually the Starks do in fact believe in the White Walkers or “Others.” It’s just that it’s been so long since the last time they came into contact with them so it was a bit hard to believe at first.

Great job. New subscriber  here. Let's  go!

This show is actually great for people who like history. It's fantasy, but aspects of it are heavily influenced by real history and the depth of the world building almost makes it feel like history. It's not light watching, though. It's pretty dark.

What a great reaction! You are going to loveeee this show!😊 And you have naturally a new subscriber here.

Everybody starts from scratch, don't give up, I hope you will become a great YouTuber one day.

Marichka, I love your reaction to this video.
My first time commenting to a video.
Enjoy the Game of Thrones ride. Looking forward to ur next video.

Great reaction ! You did a good job of following the story. Don't worry too much on trying to remember all the character's names and lore of the world. There is simply too much to absorb right off the bat.
Just relax, enjoy the ride. As the story unfolds you will soon know everyone's names and families;
Just a few facts about the world ( non-spoilery, just background). There are 7 kingdoms in all on the one continent. Robert Baratheon is the  overall king of the seven different areas. Each area has its own lord. Lord Stark is the lord of the North.
The Targaryens used to rule the Seven Kingdoms but were defeated and Robert took the throne. Dany and her brother Viscerys are Targaryens and were sent to safety across the Narrow Sea to another continent. They live in an area called Pentos. Viscerys is selling off his sister to Khal Drogo, in hopes he can win the Iron Throne back from Robert Baratheon by using Khal Drogo's army.
Much more detail about this will be in given in future shows.
Bran is not the youngest, he has a small brother Rickon who is only 6. So you have Rob, Sansa, Aria, Bran and Rickon who are the 5 Stark children and of course Jon Snow , the bastard.

Hope this helps a little. Good kuck with your channel !

I’ve been on this Game of Thrones binge lately lol and your channel popped up. Love your reaction. Subbed and looking forward to watching you get thru this journey.

Good catch on the location in Malta - in season 1 both King's Landing and Pentos scenes were filmed there, but the production was expelled from Malta after season 1 because they did too much damage, and for the rest of the show, King's Landing is filmed in Dubrovnik.

There's no harm in reading about Robert's Rebellion (how Robert became King). There are no spoilers there.

Yes, do obtain a map of Westeros and Essos. The link below is an interactive map. Knowing the scale might prove helpful because these are very large continents. It will be revealed in a later episode that it is 1,000 leagues from King's Landing to the Wall. A league is three miles, making that distance 3,000 miles or 4,828 kilometers. Travel time by horse and wagon is roughly 20 to 30 miles per day. So, from Winterfell to King's Landing would take about six to eight weeks. King's Landing is located at the west end of Blackwater Bay. The Wall runs from the Bay of Ice to the Bay of Seals in the north. Winterfell is just to the south of the Wall.

22 characters who appeared in episode one are dead by the end of the series. No one is safe. Be prepared.

I did not notice any mistakes as you claim. Consider me as a subscriber.

Episode one summary:
Beyond the Wall - On the continent of Westeros, rangers of the Night's Watch scout the forest beyond the Wall, the massive ice barrier in the North, and discover demonic White Walkers and wildlings turned to undead wights. Will, the sole surviving ranger, flees south.

In King's Landing - Watching as the corpse of Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, is tended to, Jaime Lannister assures his twin sister, Queen Cersei Lannister, that if Arryn had spoken to anyone about them, they would already have been executed.

In Pentos which is in Essos - Exiled prince Viserys Targaryen plots to reclaim his father's throne from King Robert Baratheon and brokers a marriage between his sister, Daenerys, and Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo. As wedding gifts, Daenerys is given books of the Seven Kingdoms (the North, the Vale, the Riverlands, the Westerlands, the Reach, the Stormlands, and Dorne from Ser Jorah Mormont, an exiled knight loyal to House Targaryen, and three petrified dragon eggs from Magister Illyrio Mopatis, who helped arrange the marriage.

In the North
The Starks of Winterfell are introduced: Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark, his wife Lady Catelyn, their children: heir Robb, elder daughter Sansa, younger daughter Arya, ten-year-old son Bran, youngest son, Rickon, Ned's bastard son, Jon Snow, and ward Theon Greyjoy.

Ned takes his sons to witness Will's execution for desertion of the Night's Watch. Ignoring Will's warning of the White Walkers, Ned beheads him, insisting the Walkers are long extinct. The Starks find a dead stag, the sigil of House Baratheon, and a dead direwolf, the sigil of the Starks, whose pups are taken in by the children.

News arrives of the death of Lord Arryn, Ned's friend and Catelyn's brother-in-law. Winterfell receives the royal court, including King Robert, Cersei, their children—Crown Prince Joffrey, Princess Myrcella, and Prince Tommen Baratheon—as well as Jaime, a member of the Kingsguard, and his younger brother, Tyrion Lannister, a dwarf known as "the Imp". Robert pays respects to Lyanna Stark, his late fiancée and Ned's sister, appoints Ned as his new Hand of the King, and suggests Sansa be betrothed to Joffrey. Catelyn receives a message from her sister Lysa, Arryn's widow, who suspects the Lannisters killed her husband. Ned reluctantly accepts the position of Hand of the King.

Bran climbs an abandoned tower and discovers Cersei and Jaime having sex. To hide their incestuous and extramarital affair, Jaime shoves Bran out of the window.

You did great!  Truly. A real understanding of the basics. There’s a lot of characters, yes.  But if you read historical fiction, you’ll be fine.  After each season there are lore videos to learn more details of their histories - right up your alley. You may want to watch alone, or video it. Either way they are very interesting and informative.     - your English is excellent!
