In this video, we react to the 25 funniest British sitcoms of all time! We've been jumping into more British comedy lately and absolutely love British humor, so we wanted to see where shows like Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Peep Show and The Inbetweeners ranked among the all time greats.

Some of these TV shows we'd never even heard of, while others have been recommended to us countless times in the comments. Based on our limited experience with British sitcoms so far, we thought it was a pretty great list overall, but there were definitely a few surprises. We REALLY didn't expect to see #1 ranked above some of the others! Let us know in the comments what would your top 3 be?

A favourite of mine, though it never seems to figure in these polls is One Foot In The Grave

The other Ronnie Barker comedy was Open All Hours

Whoever made this list must have been drunk FOOLS and horses is the king of all

@worldwidekeef 14 hours ago

I don't know who made this list but The Office being above Only Fools and Horses and Still Game not even being on the list is ridiculous. Also, Spaced is amazing.

Red dwarf is one hell of a ride

Extras is criminally underrated

Look at the vicar of Dibley, very funny.

Til Death Us Do Part, Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son, Allo Allo, One Foot In The Grave, Last Of The Summer Wine, Men Behaving Badly and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em should all be in the top 25.
This was definitely a highly personal list which misses out many all time classics.

Longest running British sitcom was "Last of the summer wine", ran from 1973 to 2010.

My favourite line from Only Fools & Horses was Rodney saying "I’ve got this horrible feeling that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, knowing my luck I’ll come back as me!"

Thought vicar of dibley would be there. Also thin blue line.

Am I alone in thinking 'Allo 'Allo should be listed? I also think these two would like it.

Maybe I am, because I'm one of the few who don't actually like Peep Show or Alan Partridge.

2 shows that should’ve been on this list:
One Foot in The Grave
Keeping up Appearances

And there's Are You Being Served.....

Fawlty Towers, or Flowery Twats. Absolutely full of awesomeness.

The order is highly dubious. I would say either Only Fools and Horses or Fawlty Towers should be number one. Also SO many omissions like It Aint Half Hot Mum, One Foot in the Grave, The Vicar of Dibley, Open All Hours, Keeping Up Appearances, Steptoe and Son to name but a few...

Black Books, Open All Hours was Ronnie Barker, and you will see David Jason who plays Del Boy in only fools and horses

06:45 The young man briefly seen in the black leather jacket, sat next to Ronnie Barker here, is Richard Beckinsale. He is the father of actress Samanatha Beckinsale and more famously Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale. Richard died tragically young just a couple of years after completing "Porridge", in 1979.

Mine: Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers and The Office.... and a few not on this list - Friday Night Dinner, This Country, Men Behaving Badly and Outnumbered.
