i haven’t even got to the salon’s side of the story yet, but as a salon receptionist the idea of people flooding their books with fake appointments over one client’s issue with one stylist is giving me an aneurysm 😭

Unfortunately, I get that she wants to believe that it can be fixed, but she’s being duped by the advertising and it’s hard to watch her fall for it. They’re using her as an advertising/clout opportunity, and she should totally take advantage of it, it’s such a bummer to watch her go so far as to defend Alfredo/these companies.

Been trying to get my hair healthy, long and pretty, proceeds to box dye and perm it, girrrl that isn't how you get your hair like that... I stopped dying it, and grew it out for like 4 years, NOW my hair is healthy :')

I bleached my hair 7-8 years ago. It took about 5 years before I was confident it grew out fully, and that's a conservative estimate. I think people pulling the bleach as a "gotcha" are just wanting to hate something because bleached hair that is probably either fully grown out or only at the very ends would not cause your hair to be melted root to tip. Even if she had it bleached more recently than 6 years ago, her roots still wouldn't be melted from it.

if anything, this is a lesson on how quick the internet can switch up on you and as citizens of the internet, we still need to hold back our criticism of someone who hasn't gotten a chance to tell their side of the story

It kills me that we slap the word gate onto every new problem.

I've been noticing more and more online drama (and particularly on TikTok, like with the cake pop drama from a few weeks ago) having this sort of drastic audience perception switch up lately. The black-and-white thinking and mob mentality displayed by TikTok audiences needs to be studied.

Crystal's earned a follow. She was real, upfront and 100% correct.

So apparently, before he deleted his video with milly, Alfredo replied to comments asking about her scalp and said that there were no visible burns so he went ahead and applied colour with 5 vol developer. After a few minutes milly said it was starting to burn so they removed it

I too have hair so I'm here for it. Great video and commentary.

The way I would’ve just buzzed my entire head after that perm 😂 I’ve buzzed it off for a less serious reason so you best believe the trimmer would be coming out for THAT amount of damage

They should have just helped her with a wig style and an install and called it a day 🤷‍♀️

That response to cryistal came off so naive

Shout out to Cryistal because she seems like an absolute real one.

I love how we all just refer to it as “the internet” in these moments (comment sections, commentary videos, etc) one big conglomerate mind that’s become sentient 😂

Also ty for the 2 hour video I just started learning how to cross stitch <3

Only half way through: Folks are too chronically online and all have main character syndrome... 😂

the never ending permgate

I personally like a good wolf cut hairstyle. That’s my go to hairstyle for me

Just wanna say: It's A-OKAY TO CRY OVER HAIR.
It's not only okay to cry for whatever reason, but also hair is super sacred to many people, it's literally attached to and part of our bodies. It is a societally reflective aesthetic of our cultures, personalities, abilities to be presenting properly for the expectations in certain spaces like professionally, in court, surviving judgement as a marginalized person, etc.
You cry it out, Diva. Your fault or not, cry it out.

BRIAR BLESSING US WITH AN ALMOST 2 HOUR VIDEO!!!! 😍😍😍😍
