what do you guys think makes someone keep a lie like this going for years
🤔

This story gives me secondhand embarrassment so bad. She really thought no one would notice?? At DUKE? 😂

Graduated from Duke PA school but not wearing a seatbelt...

As someone who took a year of college in environmental sciences i learned college is time consuming i actually lost my job because my college schedule was constantly changing and it was near impossible to have a part time job going to college full time and trying to manage adulthood so Honestly i find it suspicious if someone has time to post online 24/7 and claims to be in one of the most difficult professions at a elite college and doesn't come from a rich family background

with all of that effort she could have actually gotten the degree 😵‍💫

I wonder how moving from lie to lie throughout life affects one's sense of identity. Like, do they just not have one and adopt a new identity when they move onto a new big thing to dedicate their life to lying about? Or is there still a core identity with consistent beliefs and standards underneath every facade?

studying for my grad classes when i got the notif for this. oh i’m sat

She already laid the foundation to solve the problem of “what now after graduation?” in the post with her friend in the car where she stated she “was going to take a break after graduation”.

If she hadn’t been exposed this break would have just lasted forever. We would never see her workings as a PA and while on the break she would come up some other bs to explain it, like getting diagnosed with a mystery illness that put her out of work and required long term treatment.

Problem solved.

Angel took "fake it til you make it" literally and personally

15:00 “I’m going to work every single day until my birthday, except weekends of course” baby my husband is in fellowship and has worked 21 consecutive 14 hour days, this is how I know you’re not in PA school 💀 you don’t have time to have another job, the school is your job 😭

What person in the medical field would be comfortable filming themselves while DRIVING? Let alone WITHOUT A SEATBELT?! 😭

I’ll never understand why these people don’t just post unfiction. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’d be just as invested in a fictional account of a Duke student as I would be in a real one if it was properly researched. Like, you don’t HAVE to lie to be creative online. Just make an account that discloses it’s a fictional story with you acting. Sure some people might be turned off, but it’s better than being caught LYING

It pisses me off when she talks about how hard she's working in school and how super stressed she is when she didn't actually do that. I'm working on my bachelor's in psychology, and I cried 3 times before noon yesterday due to stress and lack of sleep

@CarefreeTravellerXIV 2 weeks ago

i'm 2 minutes in and that clip with her driving without the seatbelt on and talking while looking directly into the camera is already sending me 😅

@m0th_inxthe_moonlight 2 weeks ago

The way people will lie about ANYTHING is insane. People have such a need for attention or a need to seem interesting that they'll pick anything

@BaberyHasOpinions 2 weeks ago (edited)

She reminds me of one of my family members 😭 she’s a pathological liar who just makes crap up. She once claimed she had a sibling who died in a fire, that she was a helicopter pilot, a DJ, a dancer, a singer, and actor. Etc. All lies. It’s just a thing that some people can’t help but do. I think it makes them feel better about their lives.

There was a pilot who wasn’t authorized to fly with an airline who flew commercial planes for YEARS before he was found out (he did know how to fly, he just didn’t have the documentation to fly commercial I’m pretty sure). You can almost get away with anything these days-

OMG…as an actual certified PA….this is disgusting and infuriating!!!

15:22 “… go to the gym, I have a YouTube to upload, and then.. I 👀 have to do some stuff for school 😏😝🙂‍↕️” lmao she gets SO weird moment she mentions school. Hindsight is 20/20 but lmao the vibes were weird
