Jock Stein built one of the greatest teams British football had ever seen, but even he made decisions that looked very different with hindsight.
In this documentary, we explore 5 players Stein let leave Celtic who still had more to give — Willie Wallace, Bobby Murdoch, Jimmy Bone, Joe McBride and Kenny Dalglish.
From Stein admitting “I was wrong about you” to Jimmy Bone, to Joe McBride leaving too soon and the loss of Dalglish leaving Stein asking “Now where do I find another player like Dalglish?” — these are the fascinating stories behind some of his toughest decisions.
