As a solo female doing her first build, big thanks for being so detailed! So many videos lack that. It’s much appreciated!

That answers the question of swivel seating, a must, in my opinion, for reuse of space and things in a van camper.

I wouldn’t have ordered the factory swivel option from Ram had I known that it’s that easy to install. It costs $695 per seat!

I just installed a pair of these and they rock quite a bit, along with a small clearance issue at one point in the rotation to back-facing position.  I have a 2024 Promaster 3500 EXT. The bolts fit perfectly and it swivels, just some rocking that can't be taken out via the 6 bolts around the swivel.  Electrical was no problem.  Thanks for your video, always good to see someone have success with a particular product/brand before tackling.

great video,thank you.

Nice job, my Precious!
Ok…I slo mo’d.

Nice job!

Wow, that’s super easy!!!

now i'm swiping at my forearm trying to knock stuff off

My Preeeeecious 😮

This design appears to be symmetrical, i.e. there's not a passenger or driver's side. I'm guessing this probably requires you to move the seat forward before you swivel it otherwise it ends up hitting the B pillar. Am I correct?

I ordered one of the universal ones that has the all the holes in it, and also has the passenger and driver side. This doesn't require you move the seat forward to rotate,  but because it's offset it protrudes into the center of the van more. This wasn't a problem on the passenger side but on the driver's side it moves it too far away from the side of the van.  And those other brackets also require you cut about 1/2 inch off one of your trim pieces.

Bottom line is I think I'm going to just replace both of them and put some lower seat bases on. Amazing Auto has some lower seat bases for about  $250. The driver's seat is about as high as I am comfortable with it going so I don't mind so much on the passenger side if it's higher but I certainly do on the driver's side.

Just mentioning this for other people contemplating this and what they face. I know there's a lot on youtube videos about various brands not lining up correctly as well.  Do you find these swivels to be fairly smooth? I was looking at the Scopena, Not sure I spelled that right but those are almost 400 bucks. The ones in the video here you can get off of Amazon for about $129. And the free shipping is nice too. The Scopena's I think charged an extra $50 for shipping.

I see there is an option to buy the van with swivel seats. is this better? cheaper? is there any advantage to the factory installed swivels?
what are your favorite options when ordering a new promaster?

Do you have links to your window coverings?

How about the Chevy express is there an adapter plate to make those front seats swivel too ?

Do you have the name of the swivel seat kit u used for the Promaster thanks

Hi, do you have a new link for the seat belt extension?

My precious

...so random lmao

Hi, great video! W
ith this product, are you able to swivel the driver side seat with the E-brake in the up/engaged position?

Does the swivel seat give more leg room for the driver. I bought a 2025 promaster and I’m annoyed with the leg room. I feel crammed and I’m only 5’6”. I came from a Tesla model 3 which has a lot more room for the driver.

What do I win, my precious?
