We’ve had one of these for about 4 years. Only used it once, but knowing we have it was well worth the money 😂

We have had one for years, excellent piece of van kit, I buy the wood pellet cat litter it's really good, smells of pine and cheaper than those sachets, I just decant it into a small plastic ice cream tub enough for a few days or longer.

Powered extractor fan needed for sure

The moment I heard your voice in the video, I immediately expected a house tour to pop up on the screen 😀. It’s a real game changer — really liked it.

Can't believe anyone designs and builds a campervan with no bog. I designed and built mine around the siting of a porta potti. I know believe all cars should have one of the back seats as a commode!!. I am however now of a certain age.

for decades we used a pink bucket with a lid

They are great, we use them in conjunction with plastic wee bottles for number ones..
Nice idea about the folding step..

We've got one, only needed it once, so far, but it's peace of mind.  Brilliant idea to partner with a fold up camping stool to raise the height 😊. Lovely cat.  🐱

Blooming good idea, just what I need for my daily travels in our van. Thanks for sharing

Agree, a loo is a must. I have a thetford in a SWB on a load bearing drawer, so can use at night/day but i have a u- shaped lounge layout, not a R&R bed. Can take it out for more storage if needed but its a godsend at night.

I’ve had one in my van for 7 years. I hardly ever use it but it’s brilliant should the need arise/ emergencies. Large Pee bottle for the men…put it in a rucksack and empty/ rinse/ disinfect when next in the public toilets. The biggest bonus it takes up no room in the California.

I use a similar procedure  -  except I use a 2.5 gallon pail with a screw on lid adapter in lieu to your collapsible unit. For #1 I have a pee bottle...

We've got a folding chair toilet just slip a bag over the seat and off you go, we even use ours for normal sitting, £14.99 strong and sturdy proper game changer for us

Good vid folks. I had a bivvie loo for a while in my small NV200 pop top campervan. Good but couldn't be arsed to open it so kept it up with  lid on. I now use a Boxio, it's great. Cheap as chips & doubles as stool/low table. Yes it uses floor space but you move around it.

Thank you so much, just got a new VW california and really didn't want to have to get a portable potti as they take up so much space,  so this is the ideal solution - THANK YOU,  THANK YOU 😊

That's exactly the set up we have. We don't use it a lot but it's always there and it takes up very little space. Men can use a wide mouthed water bottle as a pee bottle which is an even simpler method.

Thanks for that ,great solution 👍

I have something like this in my van, think mine might be a little bit smaller, but yours looks so much easier to but up!, but yes complete game changer

Perfect Thank you! We are first time Cali owners and I was starting to panic a bit about what we were going to do at night for a weee. 😅. The normal potties seemed far too big and all the emptying of a cassette type loo is a pain. We’ve always had bigger camper vans with a bathroom, so a Cali is a whole new adventure for us.  Thanks again both x

We have the same loo but have to use a folding foot stool to sit it on for the right height.
