Hello everyone, check out this video https://youtu.be/fIn06_WSbZ0?si=ly506a4IXTPgJ2O3 because I had to make an alteration to the framing on the passenger side. I show it in the video. 9 min 35 seconds into that video

Great work. I smashed the bits that stick out on my posts with a hammer. Gave me the inch back. Throughout the van it’s a lot of space considering the size 😂👍

I know this is 2 years old. But at 8:00 you talk about the extra door bump. This you can take away. Like you said. It is there just for if a customer wants an extra door on that side. So you can use an angle grinder and take it away. It will not affect the structure of the vehicle.

Many thanks for this - it's ideal for someone like myself who doesn't know where to start. Excellent work!

Another good video. The first thing, and so far the only thing, I have done on my Promaster build is to pound down that bump out on the driver's side cargo area with a 4 lb sledge. Maybe reduced it 3/8".

I’ve been to Bogota, Colombia a few times. Loved it!

I framed my 2024 Promaster the same way but went with the pre-bulbed cross/plusnuts. I just like the fact that I can remove and remod anything and use the existing threaded holes. For a Promaster the existing hole sizes for crossnuts are: M5 (the tiny holes @ floor/bottom of beams, rear doors and a few other places), M6 (a few randomly placed), M8 (largest holes and some square cutouts) and 1/4- 20 (hex holes and some square cutouts).
