The most important items in a build is a bed and some where to sit, and everything else kept simple

Best van-build video I've seen. THANKS!

Great advice. The thing that I find funniest is people coating the whole inside surface in soundeadening even the ribbed panels like the floor. Thats just madness, a waste of money and adds so much uneccessary weight to the build. If I were doing a van I would make everything modular and removable to allow upgrades, replacement or repair as needed.

Best advice I’ve heard so far.
I’ve recently built out a van into a coffee truck and decided to not insulate the walls or floor. No vapour barrier, no sound deadening- all the stuff you mentioned, and it turned out great. Sure , it’s a bit noisier when I’m driving but I’m only driving to the gig- once I’m set up, it makes no difference at all. Air flow is good. I don’t need a heater as I’ve got coffee machines and water heaters warming up ambient. If it’s so cold that I need heat I’ve got a small space heater. Never used it.

Im just starting my iveco MWB van conversion and have watched endless videos for advice and guidance. This one makes more sense than any of them. Great video pal. Thank you. 👍

Thanks. Confirmed my suspicions but i was doubting myself. Appreciate the time you have put into this.

Please keep the videos coming. I’m looking at doing a camper van conversion next year and it’s gonna take me that long to do the research and your videos are very different and it’s definitely give me a lot of food for four. Absolutely love the conversion your inspiration to us all

Thanks, I've learnt and confirmed in equal measure.

This video was exactly what I needed been watching van videos for years! Bought a sprinter 2019 started insulating it and quickly became overwhelmed with what people are putting in their builds so thank you very much for being honest!! Simplicity is the way forward from here on out cheers bud ❤

I'm amazed that everybody else was so wrong on so many essential points, thanks for letting us know

@ClaraTaylor-te7mj 3 months ago

I've done the same with my floor, van was perfect hight for me to stand up in so no room for any floor stuff, did minus 5 in the UK this winter, no heater yet!! Wouldn't want to many nights like that but I was an 80s child and brought up with no central heating, makes you stronger

Im so glad i came across ur video .... NOW... we havent even bought a van yet but im a bit of a minimalist....i do bike packing and rough camp it.... i work in a DIY store and can often get stuff cheap or in alot of cases free.... ive been watching alot of videos and scratching my head on the stuff i seen.... your video makes alot of sence... i think ill probably do mine minimalist and change it as i go along ....

Everything you identified has confirmed my suspicions. A lot of people over think everything and it can easily become a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Spot on valuable tips. Thanks

Just stripping my first van, im so glad I stumbled across this. Amazing advice from, what i gather, a fellow northerner. Beautiful van build 👍🏻

Thank you for the way you've done this video. Very well composed, spoken and straight to the point. No irritating chit chat and music. Deffo subbing! 🎉 thank you for the information

It's becoming ever more popular to "buy a van and do it up"..
So pay attention to this video.
It's a gem

Great video on some of the myths. It's funny how someone's 'new way' then becomes the norm, until someone then has another 'new way'.

Thanks for the content
