Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man Chose Doctor Doom

Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man isn't coming back as a hero.

He may be coming back with Doctor Doom.

This video breaks down why Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker could become one of Doctor Doom's first recruits — and why his grief over Gwen Stacy may be the exact weakness Doom has been waiting to exploit.

From Peter's darkest confession in Spider-Man: No Way Home to the cancelled Amazing Spider-Man 3 storyline, this theory explores why Andrew's Spider-Man is the perfect target.

Because Doctor Doom recruits broken heroes.

I sincerely hope the MCU recognizes Andrew's potential. He's the most skilled actor to dawn the mask

The reunion of these three and them seeing Andrew’s fall into despair and trying to console him would be so potent. Very interesting stuff, and would definitely hit hard as Andrew’s fate could easily happen to Tom if he’s not mindful of his actions and how he copes through them going forward. Fire vid man

I would love for Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man to play a major supporting role in Secret Wars. I’d love for them to basically adapt the start of Peter’s arc from the House of M comic event.

5:18 I've been saying that "Amazing" Peter would be more messed up knowing that he couldve saved Gwen if he was able to save MJ

Holland Peter will be saved by doom as Holland Peter sacrificed everything for the betterment of his universe. He is the only one who isn't living a "stolen life"

There's a doom quote that I'm gonna butcher from the comics. It's after a bunch of panels showing he's been watching Peter. "He will be my champion. He won't fight for me but he will by fighting for them"

Maybe Andrew has the black suit in SW. That's hiw tom gets it. Maybe we can get andrew to voice venom or have like a haunting of Andrew's deeds following tom

Would fucking love if Peter 3 had such a big role in this duology. Might also mean the Spidey in space at the end of Brand New Day was Peter 3

Would be so cool to see Tobey Maguire Iron spider vs Andrew Garfield Symbiote suit fighting each other

Man, I love the intro. You are having fun aren't you!!? Awesome dude!

Imagine if both Peters (Peters 2 and 3) face an incursion, and the destruction of their home worlds pits the Spider-Men against each other? Like Peter 2 stands with the heroes, while Peter 3 falls in line with Doctor Doom? TS (albeit speculative) is getting me hyped.

You and your vid are making me think man

I absolutely would love that arch after that line in No Way Home.
He most definitely received a form of Redemption in No Way Home but That Form Of Redemption doesn't mean A Damn Returning to His Earth Where Gwen is No Longer. We got a tease that at any given moment that Tom's Spider-Man Isn't Around Garfield's Spider-Man won't hesitate to Challenge Tobey's Spider-Man and what better way of combating him than returning akin to the only Villain that McGuire's Spider-Man Nodded A Reference To

Nice theory, I can really see this possibly happening it would add a different stake in the scenario.
Nice job 👍🏼💚

Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman becoming Carnage would be dope beyond my dreams. Please Marvel let this happen!!!

@jankounchained4211 1 month ago

You’re bringing up a very incredible point!

Hear me out but hypothetically if Garfield’s spiderman joins Doom I think there’s a good chance Peter Quill will too based on their similar backgrounds of losing somebody. Idk but you made me think for sure lol

@jameshollister8294 3 weeks ago

He gots to be in a different suit, hope they all are

@legionmeta 12 days ago

Running with the idea, it’d be cool if Andrew is fighting Tom, and they’re relatively even but Andrew isn’t holding back so he gets an upper hand. Then somehow Tom gets the symbiote and that’s how he beats him

@jackrenda3143 1 month ago

I haven’t really seen this brought into the discussion but if this is the route they go then it also is kinda cool because it is almost a connection to what the plot of TASM 3 would have been where he was supposedly gonna be finding a way to bring back the people he loved from the dead with his grief being too consuming and having to deal with the ethics of what that actually means
