Hello, Ourii! We love vibing & nerding out with you every ARTMS comeback. Hope we answered any questions you had about the music theory and chords for the song. While we got the music figured out though, we still need help staying up-to-date with their lore. Would appreciate hearing your explanations and theories for what happened in the MV! 😂🙏

A 37 MINUTE REACTION TO ICARUS?? OH WE ARE WINNING TONIGHT

The 'mother' baba yaga telling the wingless bird she'll grow them at age 20, and when deceived, seeks revenge... then old men with guns, gleefully shooting down young winged people (BBC's parent company Il Gwang Group is a military arms dealer) is all the lore, love it 💜

they put the art in artms fr

We're damn lucky they exist, the only group with an unforced identity, very artistic and unique sounding, ntm the cinematography.

when this song dropped, one of my first thoughts was "i can't WAIT for the rttk video of this"

Icarus was nothing like anything in kpop right now, im obsessed with how they're carving their own way

Still really broken up about loosemble but artms, yves, chuu, and now hyunjin are continuing to put out amazing concepts and I've been really happy with the direction Loona has taken since breakup.

ARTMS portrays three parallel characters/storylines: 1. The digital-futuristic Virtual Angel; 2. The ancient mythological Artemis, Phoenix, and Icarus; but also, 3. Their real-life traumatic relationship with their former agency execs which imprints a tough touch to OEC’s ‘Air Force One’ MV and an eerie dark touch to the ARTMS’s ‘Birth’ and ‘Icarus’ MVs. Try these two previous MVs.
In 'Air Force One' Kim Lip, representing all members, defeats (legally) a bunch of gangsters (BBC and Sony Japan execs) and in the end Jin Soul throws them back their leonine exclusivity contracts (the crown).
In 'Birth', Kim Lip talks about a "bitter kiss" (their mistreatment and broken hopes by those execs) while leaving BBC heartbroken only with all their talents (luggage). Afterwards the five girls descend as fetuses from the moon (LOOΠΔ), and with the help of Artemis, (goddess associated with the moon and protector of wildlife and children), they are reborn and merge into one entity as Artemis herself.
In 'Icarus' (IC : AR : US = Icarus Club Are Us = ARTMS) they find the missing virtual angel by getting into that parallel digital world. Here the planes and black birds represent their own previous high hopes. But aside from this, pretend that the 'mother' to be taken revenge against and the hunters are portraying those evil BBC execs. The choreography depicts the five members as one but in the climax of song ARTMS is “reborn as a Phoenix wing” but splits up to “fly again” to form a half-moon and end up forming a single wing because LOOΠΔ is still incomplete.
Thanks for your illustrative reaction to our moon girls.

We know an Orbit when we see one. ♥
Finally, a song that really tickles the musical brains of classical musicians! 😂 Watching them vibe to Icarus while geeking out over the details is just pure joy. 🎶

This cinematic video literally represent why you can't spell ARTMS without ART.

ARTMS and modhaus making art in k-pop

There's a theory that the witch is Jaden Jeong since ARTMS came to the witch to ask for advice lmao

Omg a 37 minute video. Good job on editing and everyone's commentary.

One day closer to Club Icarus tour.

Thank you for reacting to the cinematic version! Loved seeing you all showing different emotions through all of it

5:52 this missed girl is from Virtual Angel M/V
