Excellent video as always, Mark. Brought back some memories! I remember standing on the Eastville End on a freezing cold Tuesday night watching Swindon play Rovers. I also went to school in Bath, so knew Twerton Park very well in the 1980s, although I never actually saw Rovers play there. Great trip down memory lane — thanks, Mark.

First watched the Gas at Eastville 1960 seen all the ups and downs, some great players, great fans (proud to be a gas head) thought the video was well put together and great research. Enjoyed - Tote End at Eastville to South Stand at the Mem … UTG 💜

Great video I really enjoyed it, and as a gas head I remember being there as a small lad at twerton park watching us win 3-0 all those years ago. Interesting in both visits to Wembley we have taken a lot of support, especially in 2007 when we won a play off final and took over 37,000 gas heads so we have potentially a bigger fan base but We do need a newer stadium to accommodate those fans as just last weekend against Exeter City it was a sell out with just over 11,000.

Supported Rovers since 1989 so never saw them play at Eastville, Twerton for all its faults was a great little stadium and made every match feel like an awayday. The Mem has improved over the years but is limited in what can be done. Hopefully in my lifetime we will find a new home one last time!
